Any type of carpooling would be great. This is big city living city life to a "T". I can find a spot on the street, that will only leave 2 available spots right in front of my door. I will start PMing address, phone number, and directions tomorrow. Plan to be here between 10:30 & 11:00am, 10 is ok if anyone wants to get here a little early. I think most of you will be pleasantly surprised.....

I have sent out emails and PMs with the address and directions.
Included is my phone number in case anyone has a problem.
It looks like 8 are confirmed and 4 others are still possible.
If I missed anyone, be sure to send me a PM, asap!!
The more the merrier. Beer is already in the fridge,
and if needed I have a large shoe horn and some grease to squeeze more people in here.

Will do....
roughly 12 hours to kickoff.
I am beat...pulled a hammy earlier today
and just moving is a *bleep*. Still have to bring down folding chairs, pick up some ice, bring the cooler in from the garage, move my turntable, run one power cord, and one set of RCAs.....oh yeah, fold the bed back into a couch. Oy, so much still left to do, so little time.

All alone now. The GTG was an amazing afternoon with like minded acquaintances that have now become friends. Need a little time to unwind, collect my thoughts, download my pictures, and figure out what I am going to write. If anyone still wants to come over, I need help putting away some left over beers. There was plenty of food and snacks, we took a break and went to the corner restaurant for lunch.
Listened to lots of different music, and even had a brief moment with the home theater fired up. Lot's of smiles and good cheer all around. I'll let some of my guests post before I put in my final thoughts. Right now, just need to rest my back and get horizontal, but first, another beer!!
Special thanks to Cathy Laufman and the good folks at Emotiva that helped make this a day to remember!!

We spent a lot of time comparing CD players and DAC's (six in total), which I thought was great. Anyone who says that all CD players sound alike is wrong! I was quite impressed by Barry's 14 year old Sony.
