Hey, everyone. A few pictures from our fun day. I was a bit preoccupied playing with the toys, so I didn't get to take very many (Steve had to remind me to take any at all). Here we are playing with video resolution. Poor lighting, but I'm trying to get a picture of his setup on the top of the cabinet: I caught Steve trying to adjust something. I kept telling him, "hands off! it's mine! it's mine!" But he kept insisting all of the equipment was his and he could do what he wanted. The full panorama: Here's the complete rack. UMC-1, XPA-5, DTV HR20-700 DVR, Oppo BDP-83, Power conditioner: Sorry for the poor quality on this one. You can't see it, but he was giddy, grinning from ear to ear! ok.. so was I.

Oh, look it's me. Thanks Bill for taking and posting the pictures. Just back from the Best Buy. On the menu for tonight, The Hurt Locker. I've tried for weeks to pick this up at my local Hollywood Video store. On the release date, their distributer sent them ONE copy. And it wasn't even in Blu Ray. You know how you go into the store and there is a whole wall of a new release. No sir. ONE COPY. and it's never in. So.. looking forward to that and for tomorrow Ter-Sal.(T-3). OK. I'll try to calm down. in a week or so.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY. STEVE.

Any one out there seen a Blue Ray disc that just blew them out of the water. I have a couple of things to look at tonight. David Gilmore Concert, looking forward to. I guess they have a GREATEST DISC EVER section on these boards. I guess I'll go look around. Steve. Waltz with Bashir - that will really test motion blur - and is pretty far out graphic-wise Dark City - director's cut Blade Runner - the final cut 2001: A Space Odyssey

Hey, Steve, how's it going with your new toys? Did you do any tinkering, yet? Or have you just spent all your time enjoying the fun?

The director does a good job with the tension. By the way, Terminator Salvation is technically T-4. I'm sure you just blocked the travesty that was T-3, (the one with the chick Terminator), out of your mind.
