They're in the file that Dann linked to: Tuner, I assume, is the discrete code for tuner; DVD is the discrete code for DVD (although you may have renamed it on the display); Cable is the discrete code for Cable. My input list goes up to AUX 12, I don't see the others on there anywhere. There are something like 17 logical inputs, they are not all in the file. The point of the discrete codes is so that I can use the macro function on my universal remote to turn on input 10, say, which is my laserdisc player, without cycling through all of the active inputs. This may correspond to Audio: analog 3, and video: component 2. Agreed that discrete codes for Aux 4 thru Aux 12 would be nice, but at least they're now available for the first few inputs (tuner thru Aux 3). This actually covers all the inputs I need at the moment (Tuner, BluRay, DirecTV and Wii).

No they are only adding them to my database. Would be nice though if they made them public. But if 500 people call them maybe they will.

Ok, now I'm confused. Since I did the update when I go to change Input Name I get Source 1-16, the first bunch have the usual Tuner, DVD, Cable, etc. and then Aux 1-12. Shouldn't there now that it changed be discrete codes for "Source 1", "Source 2", etc. For those of us that use more than 5 inputs?

Since your codes are working for those of us who have renamed their sources, can you tell us what devices = source1, source2....? ie DVD=source2
Thanks,
Dan

I also have the MX-950. In the original software they did not have the option of adding hex codes. I did an update and the option is now available. I was able to add the hex codes and got it to work. The volume buttons work so much better since I was able to add the hex codes.
I do have a question though. What do I need to add to my remote for the CD player to come up immediately on my UMC-1 from my universal remote. It was easy to add blu ray and comcast but I have not been able to figure out the cd player. And using the hex code for my remote does not turn on or off the dolby volume. I am sure it is user error, just curious if I am doing something wrong.

I have never had to do anything like this before with Logitech. What exactly do I need to do?
E-mail them and tell them to add the Emotiva UMC-1 'codes' to my account? Do I need to be more specific than that? Do I have to attach the files as well, or since one person has done it do they now have them in their database?
Thanks for the help.

BTW, according to their online 'compatibility tester' the UMC-1 is present under 'Emotiva' and 'A/V Receiver'.
Does that mean they have officially added it or just that they are aware it exists but do not formally have the codes entered?

How do we get Logitech to just add them to their master database so that people can just add the UMC-1 to their remotes? This would be really good for Emotiva. I'm sure people hate having to deal with logitech. Is this something Emotiva has to intitiate with Logitech?

Not to bash you, but both Lonnie and Dann G (from Emotiva) have responded to that very question, in this very thread (posts #12 & #13). It appears that they are having a heck of a time getting Logitech to respond. I'm not sure if anyone here knows how to to get Logitech to update the full database, and not just individuals.
