I just had to dish out almost $2,000 paying for college and books. Now I don't know if I'm gonna have the money to get in on any deals at Emofest! I was late getting my school loan set up and had to go ahead and just pay using my emofest fund. I don't think I will have anymore extra money untill the 15th of September. Anyone know if I can get a rain check on any deals if I come out there? I'm hoping to get a trio of UPA-1's for the front and UPA-2 for surrounds. Let me guess...you're not majoring in economics?  |

Anyone up for meeting somewhere Saturday night for some food and drink? The Bunganut Pig, perhaps? I'll be getting in town ~5-6 PM local time Saturday, and my first order of business will be food and drink. Mark I think a pre-get-together can be arranged. Count me in.  I'm game as well!  |

No, mechanical Engineering, although I just started microeconomics this semester! This class should me interesting, probably shouldn't even be considering mono amps in my current financial situation, but I want more power! I was planning to come on Saturday, now I may just drop in Sunday. |

I'm a lucky dog. I live about 3 hours down the interstate in Birmingham, AL, and my wife is coming. Can't believe she's game. Also going to hang with a musician pal of mine from Nashville.

Since we are all going to end up at Emotive headquarters on Sunday maybe that would be a good place to meet. Then again, maybe you (collectively) have another idea. I've never been to a Emofest before... do you wear nametags? And, if so, do you put your forum name, your actual name or both on it?

Thomas Thomas has a good point, and Mark's idea of the Bunganut Pig is as good as any unless Hemster gets any better ideas from the local experts at Emotiva. I don't know what time everyone will be arriving in Nashville/Franklin but I'd imagine those driving and those getting in on later flights will want to check in to their respective hotels before throwing down some beer & wings. So maybe somewhere between 7:30 and 8:00pm would be a good starting point and those running behind just show up when they can. Please voice your suggestions as I'm just throwing this out there to get things started. |
