Hey action...my reco...GO! If you are just a few hours drive away, go for it. Great food, great tunes, great deals, great fun. On Bob/LOTR...you really should come. I bet if you asked nicely that Judd and Steve would drive up, get you back across the border (perhaps not legally), and to TN and back for minimal cost. But, you would have to put up with the "bucket"...bring Febreeze is what the rumor was last year.Ya right! ;D |

I will say, I go to meet the whole gang, and they were a great bunch. It would be worth the ride, but not worth getting caught illegally in the US.
And Lawrence - looking forward to seeing you again! I plan to bring a lot of CD's and DVD's in case there's any new equipment I want to listen to. I am hoping to bring my best audiophile friend since my wife can't make it. That would make a great road trip...like the ones he and I used to take way back in college!

The Emofest may be a good venue for attendees to trade/sell/buy used equipment. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone is considering bringing equipment to the fest for such purposes.

Now that you've mentioned it, I've got an older Toshiba SD-9000 DVD player(excellent condition but lost remote in move) and some 10 ft Blue Jean 10 awg speaker cable that I need to sell or trade. Anyone interested in making an offer just let me know.

Well I just booked my ticket to Emofest... I'm very much looking forward to seeing old friends from last year and meeting new members of the Emotiva family, including the new staff members. Will have camera so you've been warned! |

I just had to dish out almost $2,000 paying for college and books. Now I don't know if I'm gonna have the money to get in on any deals at Emofest! I was late getting my school loan set up and had to go ahead and just pay using my emofest fund. I don't think I will have anymore extra money untill the 15th of September. Anyone know if I can get a rain check on any deals if I come out there? I'm hoping to get a trio of UPA-1's for the front and UPA-2 for surrounds.
