No way that I know of to change a trigger state with nothing but a button press. The only way to change trigger states without changing an input is to plug in headphones (to switch triggers off) or to change the number of active channels like going from stereo to multi-channel material. thanks and sh** I might have to keep my AV8801 then!

Of course you could make a trigger turn on by powering up zone 2 without changing anything else. But I assume this is not what you need.

Why not use a remote controlled power outlet switch to switch on/off the Mini-x amplifier? Something like this (sorry text is in Dutch): link

You could also submit a software enhancement request where the programmable buttons could directly be used to control a trigger output...
There is a topic on this forum where software enhancement requests are being collected (though not officially supported by Emotiva)

The Movies and Music button on the remote do not work when I press them. I have to use the MODE toggle to go from Stereo to Music or Movie? Any setting that I may need to apply? Anyone else have this situation as well?

Anyone else have this situation as well? I think they only come into play if the selected Mode is Dolby PLIIx or DTS Neo:6.

Is it possible to have vidéo from an HDMI input and have the sound from the USB(xmc-1 used as a soundcard) at the same time? With the umc-1 you could have video from hdmi and audio from an analog input at the same time. Thanks Anyone? It is said in the manual you can use those : Coax digital or Toslink connection or analog inputs, as the audio source. But what about the USB STREAM of the xmc-1 , can it be used at the same time than a HDMI vidéo source? The reason is that I like to play hockey video games while listening to some music at the same time. Since I don't think we'll ever be able to "MIX" different audio source soon(ex sound from Playstation and Music from the USB STREAM of the xmc-1) It would be a nice alternative instead of using my phone through an 1/8" to rca adaptor

Another method is to simply select the video source you want to watch and then USB Stream since the XMC-1 will continue to pass the last video source when you then select an audio only source.
