$20.00 shipping on the xmc-1. You pay Isn't that only (or because) you're using the 40% card? If you bought one with just eClub you should get free shipping. What about 25% discount for life, anyone used that yet? Yes i used the 40% off card and had to pay $20.00 in shipping.

I know in my experience that the UPS guys are saving the 0.75 seconds by NOT ringing the doorbell. Several times I have been notified of a pending delivery, waited patiently at home, and then find the package delivered with absolutely no ringing occurring. I have complained to UPS several times to no avail. Whenever possible, I choose FedEx for deliveries - their guys seem to know how to ring a doorbell... SCT Do we have a choice on shipping carriers with emo?..probably not

Chuckie there are all sorts of issues with the XMC-1. Don't even bother setting it up. Look, even though the used market for them has tanked, I will still give you $900 for it to help you recoup your costs. Let's get this deal done quickly before it gets worse for you. I will PM you my address.

XMC-1 weighed on my Emotiva XSC-1 Differential Reference Digital Scale (PS: The calibrated net weight of the XMC-1 is actually 21.0 lbs on this home scale.)

XMC-1 weighed on my Emotiva XSC-1 Differential Reference Digital Scale 216 pounds! Chuckienut, you're supposed to step off the scale when measuring the XMC-1! But seriously, looks like you actually bought that scale. I'm trying desperately to hold out and not buy it too, but man, I really like that scale. What were we talking about again? Oh yeah, the XMC-1. Where else can you get detailed info on new products but from our very own Nut? The processor weight is a valuable statistic since I haven't yet seen it listed. The XMC-1 tips the Differential Reference scale at 21.6 pounds: all muscle, no fat. ...wait, those were pounds and not kilograms, right?

The XMC-1 tips the Differential Reference scale at 21.6 pounds: all muscle, no fat. ...wait, those were pounds and not kilograms, right? Jacob, taking a photo while balancing the XMC-1 on the scale was a real juggling act! I went back to re-calibrate the scale and then held the scale while on it. It was 276.6 and 255.6 for me only. So the net weight of the XMC-1 is actually 21.0 lbs. I'll check that later with the XMC-1 only to verify the 21.0 lbs. There is a lb/kg button on the bottom of the scale. When I get the Dirac loaded, I'll check the weight again! I love this scale. However, it is best to leave it in the same exact place on the floor (and not move it) so it stays in calibration. Otherwise, if you lean it up against the wall then each time you use it you have to re-calibrate it by stepping on, it waiting several seconds, stepping off, and then on again for the correct weight. The weight when calibrating can read 4-5 lbs high. Once it is calibrated and then not moved, it reads the same correct weight repeatedly My wife has a similar scale and couldn't figure out why her weight would vary up to 4-5 lbs a day. She had it leaning up against the wall when not in use and her readings were off, because she never reads instructions even when they are in Japanese!. www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Premium-Bathroom-Technology/dp/B002MK6QKO/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1406683449&sr=8-10&keywords=bathroom+scale+smart+weight

XSC-1 Update!
Knowing that Room Correction carries a lot of weight (pun intended) with folks here, I though that it might be prudent to have the XSC-1 calibrated using RC software. My neighbor has an AVR with Odyssey RC so I borrowed it and calibrated the XSC-1 beyond the built-in self calibration. The result was exactly the same as before:
The XMC-1 weighs 21.0 lbs on the XSC-1 Differential Reference Scale.

Uh, hey Chuck...uhhhhh....what about the sound/features/etc.? Does it sound as good as it weighs? Mark Mark, as I mentioned before it will be some time before I unload and take my component rack apart, repair the broken caster, re-assemble it, replace and reconnect all the gear including the new XMC-1. I have removed it from the shipping box and weighed it. Until then it sits in the spare bedroom on the bed. I covered it with a lamby blankie (Emotiva Blue) we got from Costco. I did rap it quite hard on the side panel and the resulting sound was defined, tight, very detailed and produced sounds I have never heard before from any other brand pre-pro cabinet!
