Hi everyone, Well, I'm back. I was out of play for a few days with a nasty sinus infection... sorry for having gone dark. I'm very happy to let you know that we are shipping the heck out of XMC-1's. We're in full production!! The v1,1 firmware will be up tomorrow morning. Cheers, Dan Gotta love sinuses! NOT! Good to hear you're up and running.

I didn't. Neither did a co-worker of mine, But he got a notification from his credit card (because he has alerts set up for any charges over $750). He also just got his shipping notification (like me). What day did you place your order? Checking account still doesn't show anything. I placed my order last month, but it took the card a week to get there. Maybe tomorrow.

Maybe that is what is holding up the order/shipping, they have to wait for it to clear?

The world has changed, and so has the water. You can't go skinny dipping in those Tennessee creeks anymore. I don't care how inviting, and refreshing the water looks. A day later, you got it, runny nose, sore throat, fever too

A day later, you got it, runny nose, sore throat, fever too I suspect it can still be done. It just requires more alcohol....oops...I mean disinfectant. Ray

Ah, this is great news indeed...now we can get back onto news about how much people like the XMC-1, how easy the FW update process is (for those who have v1.0 and need to do the update to 1.1), and all the other miscellaneous that comes with a new piece of gear! I was tiring of the "I got my notice on 'x' date and still don't have a firm timing" posts. Nothing against those who posted such things...just a statement that it was getting tiring/repetitive, so I am glad we'll be moving to a new discussion.

Haha, yes! FWIW, I'll post below the exact items included in v1.1: XMC-1 Purpose:- Added New Features
- Added Feature Enhancements
- Fixes Several Minor Bugs
- List item 2
- List item 3
Level of Importance:Mandatory Details:
New Features Added:• Dual Mono Subwoofers (customer request) - allows two subwoofers to be individually configured, including equalization and distance, but then fed a summed mono subwoofer signal. Feature Enhancements:• Added status display information which tells the user when the TV has “stolen” audio via CEC. • Added additional Turn-On Volume setting options. • Moved OSD display higher so it doesn't get cut off on 2.35:1 displays. ( Yeah! I'm very happy about this one!) Bug Fixes:
Several minor bugs were fixed (based on our testing and user input), including: • Occasional faults preventing certain configuration inputs after changing to/from Stereo Subs. • Occasional issues with Menu formatting. • Test Tones sometimes didn’t play correctly with Stereo Subs. • Added a key combination to allow you to override certain conditions where you could lock yourself out of the XMC-1 Menu System. • Corrected/modified trigger logic. Although I've yet to apply this update, I have to say that I am very impressed with the timeliness and in the responsiveness by Emotiva to issues that were reported. This is simply fab because Emotiva is in control! Also that they listen and do the needful where possible. Keep up the excellent job you've been doing, Emotiva!

OSD moved for scope zoomers! This is a good sign that a minor feature request like that got addressed so quickly. Call me impressed!
