Bring out the passive speaker with ribbon tweeter that was teased a while back.

Even though I do not use an active preamp anymore I would like Emo to build a dedicated two channel preamp, because let's face it, two channel rules....Just gotta say it... I'm a 2-Channel and would like the HT and sub management removed from my XSP-1. I'll never use it and think about what else they could do with that space for the money.

Nope. The XSP-1 has bass management and HT features. Well, yes, the XSP-1 is a stereo preamplifier with bass management, but to use it as I want, I also have to add: An ethernet over AC modem An Apple Airport Express to provide living room wi-fi An Oppo BDP-105 to provide DAC services At least two channels of power amplification A computer running music server software An external hard drive, holding my music library files An Apple iPad with the control software and graphical interface for the music server Almost all of these "extras" could be in a single, stereo integrated amplifier & I could do away with a BUNCH of clutter. Just sayin'... Boomzilla In the full implementation I don't think I'd end up with it being that simple. I need a wifi modem, it gets used for stuff other than music. I need the Apple TV, not just for audio but video as well. I need a blu ray player, having a built in DAC wouldn't change that. I'm not ever going to trust an internal HDD alone, so EHDD's are always going to be a necessity. I have an iPad and an iPhone for other purposes, so using them for music is just another use of something that I already have. So I'm not sure that by having an all in integrated solution I would do away with anything. In fact it would just duplicate most of what I already have that serves multiple purposes. Cheers Gary

Nah, Gary - you misunderstand me. The built-in wifi modem would take the place of any other in the area. Everyone needs a blu-ray player, but not everyone likes the player's DACs I intended that the proposal use ONLY external, USB, hard drives The thing shouldn't replace your phone or pad - only have free apps that you could install The only "other" thing you'd need would be your Apple TV - the integrated is NOT an AV device. Of course, this is all academic - Emotiva won't build any such thing. But if they did... Boomzilla

Boomzilla I probably didn't get down what I was really aiming at, I'm in Germany and using an iPhone, so shorthand typing between brain and keyboard. What I meant was, in my case, an integrated as you described would simply be duplicating stuff that I already have, and would continue to need. So I wouldn't save anything, no components would be made redundant. I'd just be adding another box to do stuff that my current boxes already do. If I was starting from scratch, had nothing, then I could understand how someone could use an integrated as you describe, particularly in a small space, unit, apartment etc. But I don't, so it's not something that has any appeal to me and this is after all a narcissistic thread " what would I like Emotiva to build for ME".Cheers Gary

I don't mind buying & selling though, so to save space, I'd probably be in that market. Boom

I would like to see power regenerators. It would be nice to see a large model that could feed XPR amplifiers. Smaller versions for sources, pre amps, processors, dacs ect.... would be cool too.
