Good news you can already (almost) do that Buy the SP-1 with the DC-1 and you have essentially all of that. The HT bypass works by using one of the analog inputs and setting the volume to 0.00 However there is no bypass for the subs... yeah the volume control would drive me crazy... I just want a button to push , and running the signal through 2 volume controls is a little concerning to me . Its funny thing that a pre/dac with a ht bypass seems logical for those of us that care less about ht (although enjoy ht) than music . The few companies that make them seem to get favorable reviews partly due to the concept and they charge a good premium for them also. I'm another who cares less about movies than 2.1 stereo music as far as sound quality goes. My answer is a dedicated pre amp, a USP-1 in my case, which has HT bypass and analogue bass management. The only need I have for a DAC/pro/pre is for movies and a UMC-200 satisfies that requirement brilliantly. If you want an all in one solution then perhaps you should consider an XMC-1, great DAC, superb pre amp and has DIRAC for stereo music. Nothing else comes close. Cheers Gary

Back in the day Radio Shack used to sell a VU wattage meter showing power output, Emo could make a really cool Blu lit version that Would be great looking as well as functional. And Lonnie, I WANT the clock...
