Well, Big Dan has spoken. XMC-1 will be HDMI 1.4 compliant. (what is equally interesting is that UMC-1 will be upgradeable to HDMI 1.4 - it will surely require a hardware upgrade, so it will have to be done at Emotiva's facilities). Sorry I'm new here, do you have a link to where he said that? Like an announcement section or something? EDIT: Sorry I mean that talks about product updates and things. Now I wonder how long this pushes back deployment.  Dan says the UMC update will be by the end of this year. That probably puts the XMC release in the same time frame. |
