Well I'll chime in here, I haven't heard that many subs but for me, I think my Hsu is marvelous. It's not flashy, it doesn't get respect because it isn't the latest and greatest or trendy or anything but it goes about doing its job and I'm happy. I don't think I'd really be able to hear that much difference between respectable subs and a lot of the difference is due to the room anyway. Hsu is definitely respectable and I'm happy.

HSU? Hey, wait a minute. Isn't that a Chinese name?
I wouldn't touch no stinkin Chinese products. (Well, except for my Emo amp, CD player, speakers, XMC-1 when it finally gets released, my Outlaw sub (HSU clone), my Nikon F1.8 50mm lens, My Benro tripod, Oppo 83, to name a few).
I suppose next you'll tell us your wife is Chinese!
Well, I have to run now. The wifenut and I are going out for Japanese food here in Sendai (it's her birthday).

I thought that those were initials that stood for something, like Hyper Subsonic Ultraunit. Argh, Chuckie you ruined my whole day now.. unless you are kidding like you usually are. That's it, you must be kidding. I still like my HSU, purchased here in the USA! And my wife Chinese? Hmm.. you know I had better ask her about that one. I never thought about it. Please relay my best and a very happy birthday wish to Mrs. Chuckienut-san. Have a great time! BakaMonkuMonku

Thanks RR, good to see you back, hope the rains didn't wash you away. ;D
And for Monkumonkusan:
Xu (surname) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Xu can be a pinyin transliteration of one of several Chinese surnames: traditional Chinese: 徐; pinyin: Xú; Wade-Giles: hsü2, also spelled Hsu or Tsui or Eu simplified Chinese: 许; traditional Chinese: 許; pinyin: Xǔ; Wade-Giles: hsü3, also spelled Hui or Hii They are both pronounced somewhat like shoo, with the oo pronounced as in the French u or German ü, a sound with no exact equivalent most dialects of English. In Chinese, the pronunciations of the two names differ in tone: Xú and Xǔ.

Wait a minute! Is it wifenut's birthday today? Well if it is, HAPPY BIRTHDAY wifenut! ...Or Noriko? Nice name! * By the way, HSU is indeed Chinese, originally from a famous meal made with scorpions!

And personally I think the balogny he pulled a few months ago trying to pull the sympathy card from people(including my own which I fully retract)about over stressing on an internet forum of all places was pure and utter cheese. Thats a stunt Big Bird from Sesame Street would pull. And after seeing a number of personal attacks towards me lately from him it just furthers my belief. Oh and Chuckie, last night I watched a prerecorded show(a rerun actually from the discovery channel I believe) showing the effects of differing perceptions to our eyes and other senses in real time and with an ultra fast frame rate video camera to slow down simple things we see in our lives. One was water dropping into a pool, drop by drop(showing the drops actually "bouncing"), and another also showed a drummer and the effects of his stick hitting cymbals and percussion skins. Showing how far a cymbal bent and distorted was pretty impressive, as a side note it was mentioned that the frequency range of a cymbal starts in the subsonic frequency range(Below 20hz) and extends out to the ultrasonic range(Above 20khz)from the harmonics.............hmmmmm........

But if a person deems a need for sympathies and has the courage to show him self venerable for all to see doesn`t he deserve right or wrong hour sympathy only because where humane and we can be venerable hour selves who are we to say he did not feel what he experienced and to make fault and criticize him for such is just wrong IMHO
