I just finished listening to the latest podcast(it's in the News and Updates section of the forum this time) and there is news on the XSP-1. It is due to be released for production in the next few days. Lonnie said the first shipment will arrive just before Christmas. Its retail price will be $899, but there will be a intro price of $799. Get ready!!
Something else mentioned was that the XDA is on the water and in about 10 days those of us who got our names on the preorder list will receive a request for shipping address and payment info. The entire first shipment of this item is sold out! But another batch is of course coming, I can't remember the specifics on the web cast on that. Over and out.

One of the most exciting podcasts I've heard in awhile. Excited to get the XDA into my system so I can use it again. lol
For the next few months, my system will only be an ERC-1 and an Oppo Blu-Ray feeding PCM to the XDA so I don't know that I'd see the benefit of the XSP. Although if prices are going up like they alluded to, I may take advantage of the introductory pricing!
Mark.

For your system you should only need the XDA-1 and be able to save a couple bucks (more CDs I guess)...
