I normally toggle between a good single malt and a gin or rum mix. Tonight its Bombay and ginger ale. Scott Scott have you tried Costco's Kirkland brand gin? It's really good and an excellent value, it's always in stock in my cabinet. I used to buy Bombay before switching to the Kirkland. I have not, but I'll have to look into getting some. Thanks for the tip Scott

It has a similar flavor to Bombay Sapphire but distinct. Lovely with Schweppes tonic water or Schweppes ginger ale. I very much prefer Canada Dry Tonic. A Tanqueray Rangpur with just a splash of tonic and lime has been my choice of drink since 1976. Mark

Mark I concur whole heartedly about the tonic water, they are not all the same, I think Canada Dry is the best and most balanced of them all. Schweppes unfortunately is overly sweet and tastes like sprite.

Since I only use a splash of tonic the taste difference isn't as noticeable but still makes a difference. Mark

I'm sure you'd be able to source it in the US especially given the £:$ exchange rate! www.fever-tree.com

That always goes down very quick for me; though I usually use the "real" coke. Have you tried the dark crown royal at all? I have a bottle on my desk, quite an interesting flavour. It tastes darker too
