Flight of the Phoenix has some good house shaking bass. A big favorite of mine. * Good to see you Judd! ------- {"Avatar": I see you.}

LOTR EE Trilogy on Blu-ray: It is the Extended Edition Trilogy, so of course the three films have extra footage (almost three hours all together)! And each movie has two Blu-ray discs just for the movie itself! And then you have another three more Blu-rays for the extras. Then three more discs for the DVD versions. And finally three more for the digital copies! That's fifteen discs all together (9 Blu-rays & 6 DVDs). Capitch? ;D EDIT: Perhaps 6 Blu-rays, 6 DVDs (Special Features, tra'la'la...), and 3 Digital Copies (DVDs).

So is "Pan's Labyrinth". -> Those two are certainly 'Must Have' Blu-rays. You got it man! __________________ Would you like to have a list of another 500 titles+ or so that I consider quite 'Must Have' Blu-rays as well?

Capitch? ;D I know some here may want all of the extras, but I find it rather ridiculous that each movie requires two BD-50 discs to watch these extended editions. Could they not get just the movie itself on to one BD-50 disc with the DTS-HD MA 6.1 audio track? I do want these extended versions on blu-ray, but only the movie itself without the extra stuff.

I guess they went for the 'jugular', with all their High Res guts from the highest bit rate for both Picture & sound! Can't wait to see them in/on 3D. I tell you this man; "Avatar" on 3D is going to blow away a lot of people! FEBRUARY 2012. I myself is now a 3D converted HUGE fan! There is no turning back!

My HIGHEST Recommendations now for 3D Blu-rays:
* Avatar * Tangled * Coraline * How To Train Your Dragon * Despicable Me * Monsters vs Aliens * A Christmas Carol * Tron Legacy * Alice in Wonderland * Shrek Forever After (actually all four Shrek movies) * Drive Crazy * Transformers - Dark Of The Moon (not on Blu yet)

Yeah that's the one, ;D Djoel I thought so, because that one scene in the computer room is bass 'pulse' heavy indeed. I know so, I do have it!

saw tron legacy at the cinemas I would have to say waste of time in 3d, same with thor and narnia dawn treader..
all in all only about 15-30 min of actual 3d content in tron leg. if i was going to buy it on bd, 2d would be my choice 3d is a waste of cash...
avatar on the other hand either format i've seen both versions

star trek all the movies including remake, not sure if the tvseries would translate well on blueray.. Star Trek, The Original Series is amazing on Blu. I have season one on HD-DVD and season two on Blu Ray; still need to get season three. They did a great job with these. If you like the original series, you'll love it on Blu Ray.

Possibly today if my upstairs neighbor is either gone or feeling tolerant I will watch them. I couldn't care less about 3d.
