Darksky, I looked at the pf30 also but the pf60 has double the protection rating and more outlets. I also use a couple of wall warts(one for turntable and one for phonoamp) and these would take up two outlets each with the way that the Pf30's outlets are arranged. I think the Pf60 is worth the extra dough.

filled by stoobies? I am going this way as well. I am ordering a PF30 from Ebay for 59 bucks too. I will use the 30 in my bedroom as my new addiction is leading me to need a bedroom system. I am trying to hold off on buying anything until I get to RMAF in the fall. I really want to look at the ORCA DIY speakers using the Focal Driver and a ribbon tweeter. Then another Emotiva amp unless I find a really nifty looking tube amp that can be artsy for the bedroom dresser.

Ruggskins: One last question, if your power goes out, does the conditioner allow you to continue to use the equipment on the battery power? And if so, how long does it last (more or less) I was thinking about emergency uses. Sometimes we have killer flash floods here.

what does 1 PF60 have over 2 PF30s? if you need to high current outputs you can get 2, have a total of 16 outlets vs 13 and save ~ $70

The pf60 also has more options such as a programmable outlets(delay or no delay, switcheable or always on) and a 12v trigger.

When I bought my power conditioner I looked at a great many options, all the while knowing that I intended to plug my Emo power amp directly into the wall outlet. I was more concerned with my source components and Optoma rear projection monitor because they don't have the same robust built-in protection circuits that Emo's amps have. I was about to spring for just a good surge protector when APC had super bargain pricing on their APC H15 for less than $100.
When looking at the more advanced options that units like the H15 offer, Belkin PF60 and the APC H15 appeared to be two of the best units when comparing the price to features ratio. Both products offered very similar specs and features for nearly the same price when shopping Internet vendors. APC offers less expensive options from its other lines with fewer filtering options that might be appealing to shoppers like darksky.
Brown-outs cause more problems for most AV gear than spikes do, and those components can really be helped by the power filtering features found in the PF60 and the H15.

BrianK I think you are going to be very happy with the PF-60.
Also just so you know you mentioned you were using wall warts, another thing the PF-60 has that the PF-30 does not is a built in wall wart. So with the PF-60 you should be able to get rid of your wall warts and just use the PF-60.
The PF-60 can use either a 3.5mm/1/8" trigger or an AC power cord trigger so it will work just as a wall wart, it also has one 3.5mm/1/8" trigger output. The AC power cord trigger is a special trigger only cord (the AC trigger cord itself is not included) and not the main power cord.
The six different banks of power outlets can also each be selected to be either always ON, triggered ON or triggered ON with a delay.

I wasn't aware of the built in "wall wart", This is great as I'd love to get rid of them and free up some outlet space.

Not to derail the Belkin fans, but I am using a pair of APC G5's that I like very much. Amazon carries them and so does Vanns. APC is a company I trust.

I've used APC products in the past too when I owned a couple of Pizza restaurants, they provided my office computers with surge and battery back-up protection and did an excellent job. Makes it a hard choice but went with the Belkin since it was cheaper and seems to be well liked also. Oh, and I also had Sushi for lunch! ;D

I bought the PF60 as well. I saw the trigger out as well, but I did not think about using it to power fans. I will hae to see what kind of amperage draw it handles...
I also bought 4- 120 mm & 3- 92mm arctic cooling fans from amazon. Since I am going into the cabinet anyway it is time to build the cooling system for these new amps.
I also am going to pick up a PH30 for the bedroom. It looks like ebay is best 59 bucks with free (slow) shipping.
Thanks to everyone that helped us out on this quest. More details to follow oncce the new toys arrive... Bradley

I say the Apc H15. I have owned them before and they work great. In fact I need one now.
I did not read all the posts here but I saw Belkin mentioned and I owned the one mentioned. I thought it sucked. It could not handle the amperage it said it could. Also the Apc looks better and has never let me down. I would look for the next step up model with battery backup APC J15. if money is not an issue. Im about out of time so I could not read this whole thread.
Edit. My belkin I think was a step down model. sorry
