Nice to see someone else enjoying primarily psy/chill with their Emo gear! ;D Love psy/chill music. It sounds awesome for the most part and really covers the full range of the audio spectrum. Makes excellent test music imo. My only issue is that the content on the particular site in the link has all the same drum beat or very similar drum beat. I prefer darker stuff like Phutureprimitve or Grey Area. Sounds From The Ground is very good as well. |

Sounds From The Ground is very good as well. My favourite darker chill album: Master Margerhita, Hippies With Gadgets, Peak Records. The album (Lab's Cloud) that I posted before posted is worth listening to on cd/ FLAC rather than low bitrate samples. I have dropped tracks off that album in sets and have found that they really get great feedback from musicians and sensuous dancers alike. Also, it is worth listening to that album for the amount of analogue synths played masterfully. It uses dark elements well - for example listen to the pads used in track 9. Brilliant. Ahhh... the silver lining in the storm cloud. ;D ;D ;D
Audio bliss has allowed me to cope with my disability and 24/7 pain. I have spent far more money on medical expenses and not received more than a fraction of the benefit that my music system has provided me with. I seriously doubt I could have maintained my sanity without my audio gear. Music sooths the savage beast.

Really? Good news, where did you hear that? Big Dan posted that the XSP-1's design is completed and is in production. He also appologized for overlooking mentioning this during his latest podcast. I just hope this Chinese new year doesn't delay their availability, but it most likely will. I remember last year that it delayed shipping completed products for about a month. Unfortunately, I don't know the dates China shuts down everything. |
