Very nice stuff. Those are Volti vittora's on the L/R right? Nice tube gear.

What a great set up USN Ret!
Dumb question, How do you switch between 2 and surround channels speakers? or are they separate? (im not familiar with the speakers in your sig.)
Thanks, I use a Niles SPK-1 selector ran in reverse. The amp driving the speakers is selected by 12vdc trigger. The trigger out of the Niles unit powers a PC case fan which draws air over the VRD amps.
Thanks Metaldude

Not quite, this were stock Klipsch Belles and I modded with parts from Greg before he became Volti. I have a mod kit (w/black grill cloth) arriving in 2 days for the center Belle so the front three will match up in HT mode.
The same guy did the Santos Rosewood work on all three speakers (center 2 years later) and didn't get the finish matched.

USN Ret. You need a bigger screen to go with all that sound. Impressive!

Yeah, LG makes rotary subwoofers. ;D
I think you're actually looking at the rear view of the subs, and the big clear discs must be the ports. The drivers themselves must be firing into the adjacent room.
P.S. Creimes, ya lucky dog with that RSP-2. Enjoy!

Everything is now on the rack but still waiting for my ERC-1 to arrive and to take the place of the Pioneer, and also waiting to route all cables neatly until it arrives. Even laid down a little piece of carpet ^^^^^^^^^^Love The new Beast^^^^^^^

Creimes, dude...you've just given me a major drool problem with the last batch of pics. Outstanding! What a great rack even without the ERC-1 in place. You must be in audiophile bliss. I love viewing glorious pics of other enthusiasts' setups.

Thanks Ranger, yeah I love seeing peoples setups, daughter is sleeping so didn't get a chance to listen much tried very low volume but I'm noticing the touchy volume thing again with the RSP-2/XPA-5. Also right now I'm trying to figure out where I'm going to put a XMC-1 and 2 XPA-1L's hahahaha, I guess I have some time to plan that adventure anyways lol.

I happen to have those same LG subs. WM2233HS/DLG3744S in grey. Yours might be a little newer, since mine dont say sensor dry, but the face looks very close, same buttons and all. 120v version washer/gas dryer.

Awesome setup Creimes - I really want to reach into the photo and take off the plastic protection film off the front of the XPA-5 amp though

I learned about Emotiva last December and after a lot of reading online, I decided to give it a try and purchase the UMC-200 and UPA-700 during the holiday sale. This is the first time I moved away from AVRs. I'm really impress in the sound quality so I purchased another Emotiva gear (XDA-2 and Mini-X) before the sale was over. Again, I can't believe the sound quality this little guy can do so I got curious about the big ones... especially monoblocks and balanced connections. I'm interested in the XPA-1L but this recent sale made me pull the trigger early. Here's my Differential Reference Stereo System. Now, when will the matching contact-less "electromagnets" driven Differential Reference Turntable come out? ;D Attachments:
