I love dedicated 2 channel rooms, have you ever tried moving the couch on the side and the coffee table out of the rrom to see how it sounds, when I first setup my system in our new house all I had was my one chair in the room and it sounded better then it ever has. Just a thought to try it sometime.
Very nice setup there jdubs.....

A little re-aligning happened with re-purposing two of my UPA-1's for the upstairs two channel system and the addition of my XRef-12: All the wiring has been managed, handled and arranged properly...finally! As for the 2-channel system...I'm getting there...LOL

I like them so much I would replace them with Dalis if/when I have to. They drink the power, are very dynamic, have a nice sweet sound, and look incredible. www.dali-us.com/

What I've done so far... Rack on in the closet behind the tv. Its too tight to get a straight on shot with a 24mm lens.Sorry.

whrlwndz, great system! Looks very nice. Very good choice of components.
For improved sound you might consider placing the center speaker on the upper shelf and out at the front leading edge of the shelf. This defines the sound and puts the tweeter closer to the tweeters in the L&R speakers and also closer to the screen for more precise dialog location. Having the center speaker back inside the shelf compartment tends to give a boxy warm sound to the dialog. Suggest also moving the L&R speakers slight forward of the front edge of the cabinet.

Picked up some new Magnepan MMGs, needed something to drive them. Decided with a UMC-200 and an UPA-500. Paradigm Center, and Monitor 7s became the surrounds. It sounded really good. It was recommended I throw more power at the Mags, so I grabbed a UPA-200 to drive them, and now I have two open spots on the UPA-500 to drive rears when I get to buying them. Really, really digging this set up. The room acoustics is working out amazingly well with the Mags, and moving them back instead of forward seems to have opened them up more. Tweeters on the outside. BTW, that sampler on the screen is free from Amazon, and it is really quite good. If you like jazz, big bands, classical grab it.

I'm guessing a big difference in sound with all those acoustic treatments, way to make it yours, my wife would laugh at me if I told her I was putting panels up, hell I got in a little bit of trouble for the 2 24x36 Mondo posters I just purchased and plan on hanging up down stairs lol.
Very nice and bet it sounds amazing

Great start you have there!
