At last........ ""My love has come along"! (He He) Oh gents, it's simply amazing the detail of the XPR2 and what it brings to your system---headroom, air around the music, details that I didn't think we're possible..... I'm blown away by the accuracy when married to Gallo reference amp. Big shout out to RLW, and thanks again for getting me on the right path. Custom cabinet on the way but couldn't wait to hear her sing. Very clean set up!! Love it. |

Pics of madnorseman's room. I just wanted to chime in to say that is one of the best looking rooms I have ever seen. Seriously beautiful. It looks like something out of a magazine or hi-fi print ad. Thanks paintedklown! Mrs. Mad Norseman and myself are both architects, so we get fussy about how things get put together and how they look (but the space has to perform well before it looks good!). The Mrs. designed the three cabinets the hold the TV & equipment - to my specs of course! (Getting her involved like that helped A LOT with getting 'buy-in' on the WAF for a few things I wanted to do/include if you know what I mean!?  ). Getting some DIY bass traps finished up now, which go in next...hoping for even better results that when I experimented with some old blankets piled in each corner to gauge the results before I decided it would be worth it or not to build something better/permanent. Thanks again for the nice comments! |

A few changes in the wizard's cave...about to replace the 2 upa-1's with another upa-2 and use the upa-1‘s back for a 2nd setup with the non active speakers and to altenatively drive the centre and rears for 5.1 duty  |
