Yes I have a drop down screen as shown here. It's a 109" DaLite High contrast gray pull down screen. There is a standard T.V. behind the screen, recessed above the sealed and soundproofed fireplace. My surrounds are Onix Rockets ELT Dipoles in Piano Black, hence the bad picture. They look amazing but taking a good picture of them is difficult, especially when I am loosing daylight. Here in North Carolina we don' have that many basements and our place does not have a bonus room, so our living room doubles as the HT room. Also shown is a picture of one of the Home Theater Direct Q65 outdoor speakers that the BPA-1 is powering.

Hey Dwayland I noticed you blacked out your MMC and amp's silver accents, any reason?

Hey Dwayland I noticed you blacked out your MMC and amp's silver accents, any reason? I didn't black them out, I simply just removed(unscrewed) the side plates. I think it simply looks a bit groovier. ;D Makes the pretty blue lights have a bit more contrast this way in my opinion. They rock either way, it's just a personal taste thang.

They sure look different.

Yes, I'd rather not have the LPA-1 on the top of my rack, but it won't fit anywhere else . Axiom M80's, VP150 center, and an SVS PCi+ 20-39 hiding in the corner. Axiom M22's as rears, you can see one in the reflection in the TV. Even though it's just a 36" standard def TV (oh the horror!), I love my setup.

Nice setup there Deepthought, live the other accents in the room that you have. I may be upgrading to Axioms mostly from Ratboy, and after seeing your lovely photo.

Deepthought, nice setup indeed! Those Axiom M80's sound so good don't they? Me thinks you need a Display upgrade though...hey after watching HD DVD on my 96" Da-Lite screen.....who says size doesn't matter? Just ask my wife.

Doug, Thanks! Here is a picture of the magnetic door under the center channel removed. I keep the EQ, the power conditioner, the VCR, a DVDR (only hooked up to the security system) and video game remotes under there. It allowed me to have all the gear in the unit while hiding some of the uglier ones. -Robb

Hello Fellow Sound Enthusiasts, Here is my humble HT/"Serious" Listening Room. I have a new BPA-1 on the way as well, but as of yet, it is not set-up. Enjoy and feel free to offer suggestions or tips that might help improve my set-up. Roidefromage

roidefromage, where'd you get that black media center? It looks very modern.

I bought that a few years back from a company called Room and Board. It's industrial steel and was called the "Manhattan" line. When I expanded to a 50" Widescreen, I had to cut out the center pillars with a reciprocal saw and remove many of the shelves. (which actually forced me to move all my analog equpment to another setting) Nonetheless, I like it and it does not rattle or hum even at increased volume.

Just got my MPS-1 a few days ago. I had to make some modifications to my Sanus Furniture to support its weight. I really did not want to put the MPS-1 on the bottom, but given its weight, it was my only choice. Klipsch Ref 7s all the way around. RB-75s front, RC-7 Center, RS-7s rear. SVS PC Plus 20-39 sub.

Rayovac, outstanding setup. How do you like to Ref 7's? They sure are pretty to look at. Very well done.

Penny, Thanks for the kind words. I am a Klipsch fan, I find people love them or hate them. The horns are to harsh for many. I started with the Ref 35 series and a couple of years ago upgraded to the Ref 7 stuff. I really like the sound of the RC-7 center it is one of the best of I had the pleasure to hear. I have played with the idea of picking up some RF-7s for the front and moving my RB-75s to the back surround position. The other option would be leaving things as is (meets the WAF better) and just picking up some RCW-5 inwalls for the back surrounds. And since I seem to be doing the upgrade-itis thing. I have been toying with selling my SVS PC+ 20-39 and getting the newer PC Ultra. Anyone want a mint SVS cylinder? ps. I fixed the pictures above, they may not have been working for everyone.
