Hey Kraemer, I think you would be impressed with the face plates on these. 3 piece face plate machined from 1" thick billet. Since they haven't been officially annouced, I will just leave you all with a little teaser. Think BIG power! The XPR-5 has a 3.3KVA transformer and the XPR-2 and XPR-1 have 2.5KVA transformers! Oh yah, the big dogs will be here soon! ;D Lonnie

Wow! There are some European countries where those things are not allowed to be imported as they can cause rolling brown-outs.
(I'm talking to you, Andorra & Lichtenstein...)

I would assume that the specs are similar (if not the same) as what we've been told the last two Emofest. Definitely like the redesigned face plates.
And...
I've always heard about prices: If you have to ask...

I like the look but they don't match the XMC-1. Any chance for the XMC-1 to be put into a matching chassie? Or maybe a XMC-2, or RMC-1 coming in the near future as well?

The new face plate is very nice. Is that going to be the template for the entire Reference Series face plate components? What is the secondary capacitor size for each of the amps? I assume they are still H class?
Dan, I see you were burning the late night oil when you posted this announcement. Some might think you were excited to finally be releasing these MONSTERS! ;D ;D ;D

Some might think you were excited to finally be releasing these MONSTERS! ;D ;D ;D Who said anything about the new amps being released? He said and I quote: ".....They're coming!!!!! ... will be shipping this summer....." This is nothing we didn't know already. He's just trying to get the troops stirred up. Don't be jumping to conclusions. Summer to me is June at the earliest and that is still about three months away. ;D ;D ;D PS: It's a good thing I got my name on the waiting list for the XPR-5 last year.

The XMC-1 chassis will match the X Series line.

Oh thank God! After waiting this long, if the XMC-1 didn't match our XPA-5 and ERC-2 as I promised my Japanese wife, I would lose face and have to jump from the Space Needle. (I'm really afraid of heights!)
;D ;D ;D

From the looks of the size of these amps, it looks like their gravity field will be almost that of a small black hole. Will they suck all the light photons out of the room?
