So with everyone anxiously awaiting the product to hit the site..."who's buying???"
Just curious...I personally am not even thinking of it as my XPA-2 is plenty of power for me, and at most I will top out at XPA-1's. I can't even imagine needing the added power of the XPR line.
XMC-2; Panasonic UB420/Oppo 105/Roku Ultra to LG 86UM85; UltraRendu to LH Labs Geek Pulse X-Infinity; nCore nc400's or Prima Luna Premium Prologue to Maggie 1.7's; Rythmik F25; XPA-5 to CC-470v3 Center/ERD-1's; Thorens TD166 MkII/Denon DL207/XPS-1; 5-zone Sonos w/Def Tech AW5500's @ deck/pool/master bath & Sony SS-MB105/Polk R10 @ great room & kitchen. Two headphone setups: Hifiberry/BasX A100 and Allo BOSS/Schiit Asgard 2 (each to Senn 600's). PC w/Airmotiv 3b's. Roon user.
I'm planning on buying 2 - but not immediately. I'd like to see the final specs, pricing - and a couple reviews before I pull the trigger. I had the cash ready to go but spent it on a pair of Subs a few months ago - when I knew that the ETA of the XPRs was uncertain. Now after waiting for a year - I just want to see them already. I was pumped up for the 7 channel version so was kinda bummed when that was shelved.
I'm with jim000, I am anxiously awaiting and want to see the product page/specs and hear some reviews as compared to the XPA series.
I think the XPR-5 is one option for me, but I'd really like to wind up with XPR-1 x 3 (across the front 3 speakers) and an XPR-2 on the rears (I run full range tower rears identical to the front). I am a big believer you cannot have enough power. There is a certain control and ease to the presentation.
