Ha! I've just finished downloading the site app & in this mode I see a camera icon so I'm gonna try & get you guys some pics. There you go! Wow those things are HUGE. Are you compensating for something man? And what the hell is that red thing down in the bottom left? It's gotta go. Doesn't match the blue lights at all!!! Nice set up! Wish I could afford all that for one seat.

Well it appears i found the answer , kinda , i can post pics from the app but the format is extremely strange & to view what i just posted i have to switch back to normal mode & then the site shows me everything i posted , anyhow i got a few full size pics up of the Emotiva rig so i may as well do a gear rundown .
Speakers , 1 of a kind Mcintosh XR-290 line array bulit in their origional single cabinet design before Mcintosh corporate forced Roger Russell to make each cabinet with a bottom & top cabinet because of the 400lb weight concern.
Amps powering all 8 of the 12" woofers are the Emotiva 1,000 watt XPR-1 monoblocks .
Amp powering all 24 of the 5" midranges as well as all 48 of the 1" tweeters is the Emotiva 600 watt XPR-2 stereo amp .
Preamp is the RSP-1 by Emotiva , its discontinued now but it shouldnt be.
Source is the Emotive ERC-2 CDP working with the XDA-1 DAC,i much prefer its appearance vs the newer ERC-3 with its loading drawer off to one side .
Room correction via DBX-20/20 eq analyzer, best audiophile eq ever made imo.
Wiring & interconnects are all Emotiva TOTL models , cant remember their model #'s off hand .
Power protection via 3 EMX-2's, one on each of the 3 amplifiers with each amp having its own 20 amp line , breaker , gfci & afci at the breaker panel.
Power protection for preamp & source components in the rig is thru a single XMC-6 on its own 15 amp line with gfci & afci at the breaker panel , all components & amps are set up with the one touch trigger function as well .
Audio rack is made by a local designer & is rated at 600 lbs max weight .
If anybody wants i can throw up a few pics of some of my other complete Mcintosh systems in both our homes & see some of our gear collection we've acquired over the last 20 or so years .

Haha i was wondering if you'd catch my funky chair or not the soundstage from the line arrays is beyond explaination , absolute pinpoint imaging, huge sound stage as well as phenomenal bass response & slam , the cleanest high end ive ever heard , the only drawback is they are power hogs but we love their sound . In our theater at our main house we use 2 pair of Mcintosh XRT-22 dual column line arrays for fronts & rears & with the bass they put out at 20 subs are not a requirement. The red led's on the DBX are a for sure mismatch that drives me nuts but the eq's capabilities are so great i just live with the mismatch , we have another DBX-10/20 in our Mcintosh 2 channel rig as well & the red led's drive me nuts against all the big blue meters & blue led's of the Mc gear but i try not to look at it .

Here's a few shots of some of our ultra high end Mcintosh gear the XPR' have held their own against in our systems. Amps above are Mcintosh Mc-1201 1,200 watt monoblocks. These amps above are our Mcintosh Mc-252 stereo amps that are 250 wpc stereo or 500 watts bridged mono being used as 500 watt monoblocks. The amp above is our Mcintosh Mc-500 stereo amp that's 500 wpc or 1,000 watts bridged mono. This is a shot above of the McIntosh XRT-22 dual column line arrays that make up the fronts & rears in our HT . This amp above is one of 4 McIntosh Mc-60 60 watt tube monoblocks we own but this one is the cleanest example. The preamps shown running both systems are Mcintosh C-2200 tube preamps & are imo the best sounding preamp ever made . I will post some pics of our krell amps & other high end gear we have in operation & in storage when we leave our summer house & head back to the city in November , or when the 1st snowfall comes here , just wanted to throw up some proof that somebody has ran the Emotiva XPR line against amps costing nearly 10 times more & is saying the big emo's are not the average mid fi or budget amp , they easily hold their own against Mc & Krell .

[/quote] I think the ERC-2 is a nice sounding player even though im not all too fond of its disc loading mechanism, kinda reminds me of a car audio unit but it sounds really nice & IMO looks much more stylish over the newer ERC-3 with its side drawer , functionality & performance wise its a good unit.

When we get back to our main house in the city this winter i'll get pics of the systems there & our theater room as well as our vintage tube gear collection & get em posted .

That's really great to see! I'd love to hear that system. Almost purchased a line array set up but ended up buying the emo gear instead. Best $5k I've ever spent. My amps just arrived last week and the XPR-1's seem to get better everyday. I really enjoy the headroom.
They seem to be getting smoother as they are breaking in.
