Not to be a wise guy, but do you not take the specs on their webpage as true? Sorry Ed, but this is the first time I've read this thread. I really don't see any problem asking about the AP test results. I look at them very carefully myself as well as the published specs at the website. I have in the past noticed a situation or two where Emo has made a mistake (I presume proofreading or office communication) where there was a discrepancy to me in the power or distortion figures and this was discussed in a thread. I think the large majority of us here love our Emo amps and other products but the accurate specs and then verification in the AP tests is just another reason Emotiva is way above the competition. What other company even allows questions about their specs and test procedures, let alone publishing the AP figures!

A T-shirt, I like it. OK, so put on your creative hats and lets see who can come up with the best slogan or imagery. Lonnie Emotiva XPR is the "HULK" of power amps (With a picture of Hulk on front of Tee Shirt holding an XPR-1) XPR = Super Hero of Power Amps (if using the name "Hulk" is copy protected. Still showing muscle bound figure holding the XPR-1 ) Q: Who is the Super Hero of Power Amps? A: Emotiva XPR Series

Emotiva XPR series - "Plug it in. Blow your load.......banks." This one's perfect for my sensibilities (or lack there of), but if it's too suggestive for corporate PR this one's also good: "Some companies hope their amps test well. We hope to blow up the test equipment." This would work for a print ad with a picture of smoking test equipment. Similar to the famous 70's speaker ad with the guy being blown backward in his chair by the speaker's air movement. ...

My version of the Emo T-Shirt reads:
''Emotiva XPR Audiophile Series: Affordable Amplifiers That Will Only Break The Resister Bank!''
I trust that actor Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown) will be available to pose as Lonnie for the silk screen.
Enjoy the music,

Everyone actually pays in and a third party makes them if N orders come through.

Just think, you could be the very first Emotiva Poster-boy! At Emofest, all attendees can admire your picture.--Hey, there's Erwin! ;D

1st entry into T-shirt idea:
"Get in the Ring with XPR Power"
Graphic of an XPR amp as a muscle dude in a boxing ring with a graphic of some "knocked out" (blown) test bank equipment lying in the ring.
"Puny Load Banks Need Not Apply!"

2nd entry into T-shirt idea:
"XPR" "On The Prowl"
Graphic of a black panther in a predatorial stance with Emo blue eyes looking out with some blown test load bank equipment under its paw like it just caught its prey.
"Power, Finesse, Agility, Control" on the panther or under the graphic.
"Join the Hunt" "XPR Power Amps at Emotiva.com"
