I think he will be fine. I am running my XPR 2 & 5 on the same dedicated 20 amp circuit. I also have my 2 panamax 5400's running on the same circuit. I have a 60 inch plasma, 2 channel tube preamp, denon 4311, marantz na 7004, denon dbt1713, ps3, directv hd box, cisco switch all plugged into the both panamax which are on the same circuit. The volume knob at -10 did not trip my breaker. As someone noted earlier, these amps have alot of capacitance and for those transient peaks, it will pull from that more than from the wall.[/quote]
Can you provide your opinion of your XPRs thus far? Much appreciated.

A dedicated 20 amp circuit is not the same thing at all as a typical 15 amp household circuit, which by code can have 12 electrical devices(read plugs and lights) on it. But you are probably right about it being a problem.
I'm interested to hear reports of the XPR's as well.

Wow! Now that is impressive. Is that a 1,000 watt load bank in your hand or are you just happy to see me? ;D EDIT: So...what are those cute little speakers behind ya, Lonnie. They don't resemble AirMotivs in any way, shape, or form.

I have speakers, I have not purchased any speakers from Emotiva. I'm only listing all gear that I purchased from Emotiva. My main speakers are Newform Research R645s.--Although I own the V1. newformresearch.com/r645v3.htmMy next purchase will most likely be a subwoofer. I've been waiting on the Emotiva ERS series subs....-- I believe they were called the ERS-212s. If Emotiva does not come out with their reference subs by the end of the year, unfortunately, I'll be moving on to the SVS13-Ultra or a Rythmik. To my understanding, Emotiva is coming out with a reference speakers series, so I may also purchase a pair of mains depending upon if I take an interest in what they debut. We used to use finned tubular elements as a load bank, about 33R each and a couple of kW power handling, combined with a fan they were awesome at heating the lab in the winter.
