As long as its not like the superslim PS3. Top loading garbage like a 90's cd player. Does everything from the past have to be brought back?

Where did they have the ERC-3? I was there around 11:30 and didn't see it. They had an ERC-2 on the rack. Lonnie didn't say anything about anything new.

Okay, I'm home and trying to attach the picture of the ERC-3. Unfortunately, this new forum board (ProBoards) that Emotiva is using have not enabled the 'Add Attachment' button. The 'Help' tab said that this should be enabled by the forum staff and I don't know who that would be.
Sorry guys, it looks like you'll have to wait for Emotiva to post a picture on their website.

Lonnie didn't say anything about anything new. You didn't see the twin slice toaster (two pair of XPA-1Ls)? Actually it's been upgraded and does much more than toast now, they were serving grilled cheese sandwiches when I stopped in.

Click quote or reply and you should have an add attachment button up at the top on the right side. Not the very top of the page but approximately across from where it says Subject. I sure would like to see this new ERC-3.

They had the ERC-3 on top of the XPA-1L's and it melted.

Well, this explains why the ERC-2 has been listed as "unavailable" for purchase. My ERC-2 works fine, but I'm always excited to read about new product launches. Can't wait to read the specs and see the pics. dac0964, if you can't get the file e-mailed to geebo, consider using a free image hosting service like Photobucket.

It won't allow it and there is an error message that this forum has exceeded its attachment limit. It's only 65kb! grrrr... I'll just email it to you if you want (pm me on your email address)

Mind you I am not computer illiterate but somehow I can't work this ProBoard for some reason.

Ok those who would like to see the picture I took today of the new ERC-3, I emailed them to Geebo. He may have better luck of posting it in this forum than I did.
I don't have details of the features so don't ask me. Maybe Lonnie can chime in and share some info. All I know is it will be available to order in two weeks.

.. Does it have a tray-loader? Yes that's it... Thanks for the info on the loader. The ERC-2 will be with me for a long time. I just love the silky smooth slot loader on the ERC-2. In fact this should increase the used prices on the ERC-2. I have yet to hear of anyone having problems with the Toshiba slot loader.

Based on the photo, I prefer the look of the ERC-2. Anyone know what changed in specs yet?

Regardless of changes made, when compared to the ERC-2 reviews will no doubt contain many of the cliche phases such as:
"It has a much larger sound stage."
"There is greater separation between my L&R speakers. Instruments seem as if there are floating."
"There is much less sibilance."
"The highs are crisper and the bass is much tighter."
And my absolute favorite:
"I am hearing things in my music that I have never heard before." Really?
