I bought two SR8100's and the two channel multizone amp. My Yamaha RX-A1000 is in for service and I'm hedging against it coming back DOA from lightning damage. Swapping out a UMC-1/UPA500 combo with the other (UMC-1 is still for sale)

I agree. I was one who went right to the storefront as soon as I got the email. I wanted the PRE-1. But it was already gone. Then just by luck the very next day I was showing a co worker the site and just for fun I hit the PRE-1 and it showed it as available-Bought that sucker right there. Then the next day get an email from the Sherbourn lady that they ran out and 'sorry for the inconvenience'! Inconvenience??? I ordered a product, you took my money then you say to me you don't have the product. Not Inconvenient...but BAD BUSINESS. First when I bought my Emotiva Amp it didn't come with the Owners manual-not a good 1st impression for a new customer, then this....... I really wanted to score that thing...... Dang... Gerard Masters They took your money!?! Did they return the money to your account? Not yet. I payed with PayPal. But I'm a hoping that the 'refund' delay means that they might be able to find one for me. But if I don't hear from PayPal by Monday I'll get in contact with them. They did say that if something changed with availability, that they would contact me. So We'll see. But as of now, No Refund....so maybe fate will find me a unit!! One can hope! From Seattle, home of great Coffee and MicroBrew..... Gerard Masters

Here's my story. I ordered both a PRE-1 and CD-1 which the site showed available. I got a call this morning saying the internet shopping cart had been loaded with the wrong inventory quantities, and they had neither of these units to send me new in the box. However, they did have a "limited number" of factory-renewed (B-stock) units that they could substitute for me, given what happened. They said, however, that the price would be the same as these prices were already "rock bottom". On calling them back and being told that they would 1) be shipped in factory A-stock boxes and 2) be double checked by a technician for both proper function and perfect cosmetics prior to shipping, since replacement would be impossible, I decided to move forward. They might have a PRE-1 like this that could have your name on it if you still want one at the $179 price. Good luck! Randy

I wish I could buy. I was looking to get the PA-350 but missed it. I am on the fence for the PT-7030 but think I am holding out for the XMC-1. I might get the 8100 for the bedroom to replace the mini-x.

A big Kudo's to you and to Caitlyn M. and Sarah in the office as they did indeed take care of me! So it wasn't that I was mad, I really wasn't, as much as I was dissapointed. But this really is a special company, they emailed me(!). So I just wanted to say 'Thank You' to Sarah and Caitlyn and you. After work I'll hoist a nice Pacific Northwest MicroBrew in Your Honor. Thanks again and enjoy the music down there-that's a good hotspot for Music!! Gerard Masters

^ Glad to hear it worked out. Enjoy, Gerard! I will. It will be Bittersweet though, I'll be retiring my 1984 Yamaha C-80-which has been the Best Pre-amp I've ever heard. Just real top notch. But getting the PRE-1, at that special price, is going to raise the game a bit for me. The UPA-200 has raised my whole system, especially the Mirage OMD-28's. Good Lord they sound Better than they ever did with the last amp, and I thought that couldn't be done. But the UPA did change everything for the better, and it barely runs hot at all!! Cheers to all! Why can't you people buy the PT-7030 so it goes out of stock! I'm trying hard to restrain my self from buying one and you are not making it any easier!

I got a 7-350 and a PRE-1. I have no use for either one but who cares, I'll stick them in storage and use them in my next house. I'm curious about the PRE-1 though, I've never had a 2 channel pre-amp before since I don't listen to 2 channel music much. Both are due tomorrow morning and I took the morning of work and hopefull fedex shows up in the morning like they usually do.

Well, you'd love to know that I ordered 4 more 21's and 2 of the new peavy 7500's to power them last week then LOL. My wife doesn't even bat an eye anymore, just generally rolls the crap out of them though hahaha

I still need to build an 18 or 15" sub, does your buddy have stock now....?, 15" might be more in my ballpark though lol as I'm spending too much money these days.

No the system is calibrated everything is level matched. The JTR Noesis will still outgun 4 x 21's, 6 x18 and 1 G-horn with ease, they are crazy. I'm adding the other 21's so that I can turn up my system to any level I want and nothing will ever be too much for it. As it stands now, Even will all that I have, the subs will start to strain at crazy high levels and the Noesis by themselves and my JTR's as a whole can still go 10dB's louder.... Gotta remember I'm pretty much trying to pressurize an entire basement as I don't have a separate room.
And Chad, yes he does have 15's and 18's in stock now... Both UXL and IXL and the 21's spiders and cones should be here and ready to go in 2 weeks, they are in Vancouver as we speak awaiting customs... Just let me know and We can work something out for the driver.
