Is there any chance of you setting up or approving a repair facility someone in Europe? I live in Ireland and really want some Emotiva gear but the thoughts of sending it back across the Atlantic for repairs and upgrades is a complete show-stopper for me. I'd happy buy some of your awesome gear if I knew that a fault could be dealt with somewhere relatively local to me. Being based in Australia it was a concern early on for me but that has disappeared with time, I have had 15 pieces of Emotiva gear over almost 10 years and had one issue, which was fixed with an easy power supply swap. I have also installed about a dozen other pieces of Emotiva gear for friends and none of them has had a single issue. So their gear is pretty damn reliable. The Emotiva technical guys are very helpful, on the phone and in sending detail emails. Servicing most audio gear these days is either a complete replacement or a board swap. I'm not a professional electonics technician but I'm ok with board swaps, they are almost always an unplug old board plug in new board job. With Emotiva's help any half way competent tech could do it in their sleep. Upgrades are a separate issue, to date I deliberately haven't chosen any gear that is upgradeable. We are really talking about processors only in that regard as upgrading amps makes no sense with the freight costs involved. My guess is with the second stage of the XMC-1 upgrades that'll be about it for that platform. Personally I prefer the more frequent replacement of the lower spec processors UMC-1, UMC-200, MC-700 than spending 4 or 5 times as such on something that has as short a life span as a processor. Cheers Gary

In the Netherlands the company Audio Service can repair Emotiva gear. As an Emotiva approved point of service for warranty repairs? I don't know, better give them or Emotive a call.

Not sure what the current situation is but there was a time when Emotiva promoted the Dutch Audio Service.
Never needed them myself. I have tons of Emotiva gear and all just keeps working.

I asked the question. Unfortunately the answer was that there was not a service partner in Netherlands . Guess they don't use them anymore.

The website has a serious bug. I went to order an XPA-1. Entered quantity: 2. Click check out. The total shows 4760$, as if I chose a pair x2. Changed back to a single monoblock Clicked check out. The total is now 1199$. There is no way to buy just TWO of these??

Hi just wanted to copy this post again here. Just in case some international customers are trying to buy through a company called SHIPITO, BEWARE!!:
Unfortunately I think I'm not going to be able to enjoy my new MC700. As an international customer I chose (my error) to use a mail forwarding company to have a smaller expense in shipping costs, and I chose a company called SHIPITO. Just wanted to warn all international customers not to use this company: Emotiva sent to their warehouse via UPS my MC700, and it was received at SHIPITO warehouse on March 16th. I was immediately notified by UPS that it had been delivered. However, there were no news from the Shipito warehouse so I opened a support ticket and asked what was happening: 20 minutes after this, I was notify, and 2 photos were taken of my emotiva in their warehouse: at this very same moment I paid for a DHL international shipping in order to have it at home as soon as possible. However, it was never sent, after 6 days they recognised that it was lost in their warehouse: HOW COME? LOST? I am pretty sure it was directly stolen because of the value of the product. Now I have read over twitter and Internet lots of cases indicating this way of acting by Shipito. I know it's my fault for being too innocent. However, it is quite sad after several months waiting for it and I am not even sure they will give me my money back. So PLEASE BEWARE!! And...don't complain too much about some little problem here or there...at least you have your units!! ;-))

Just in!
Exciting new addition this afternoon. For our customers in Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Singapore, you are now able to checkout through our shopping cart directly. This is a super convenient way to purchase your gear directly without having to request a quote.
Check it out this weekend!.
Happy Easter to you all!
Cathy

I've repaired the odd amp issue myself. I also have some spare stuff, PM me if you are interested or want to discuss. The shipping cost is the killer, sadly.
