Voted. Setting up today, Saturday. Unit looks fantastic!
Update: Up and running! It took awhile to hook my gear up and do all the presets, the Andrew Robinson videos were hugely helpful here. I then used my Radio Shack SPL meter to set each speaker to 75db. Worked great. I did not do any additional tweaking at that point. Played a Yanni blu-ray concert and the sound is just so much clearer as compared to my Pioneer Elite vsx-01! The Pioneer was good, but this is much better. Sharp, clear, you hear every note and sound in precise detail. I then put a couple of cd's in my ERC-1. Used Direct mode in order to keep the sub in play. Again, that same increased detail.
Just started playing with this baby and am very happy. Can't wait for Dirac.

Mine is up and running. Sounds great so far with minimal adjustments. Many hours of fun tweaking ahead. And even more after that when Dirac arrives. Can't wait! I replaced a very expensive Lexicon MC-12EQ with the XMC-1 and I was very skeptical. This is my first Emotiva product. I could not be more pleased. It sounds great! Right out of the box. I use Dirac with Amarra Symphony with IRC and it is fantastic. Be patient. You will all love it when it arrives. And the $99 charge for upgrading Dirac to create your own filters that I heard about in the podcast will be the best money you ever spent on your rig.

Have not shut my XMC-1 down since we finished plugging in all the wiring, we being, the 4 1/2 year old grandson, and myself. So we have have been playing with this toy for over a week. Bluray DVD's, holy mackerel, the sound is rattling the house, dinosaurs roaring never sounded this great. It's really easy to set up, and trying different changes in EQ, and triggers. So many neat set up tools. Phono, turntable, WOW big difference in the sound with the XPS-1. What really jumps out at me with the vinyl recordings now, is the depth in the sound stage. We did a comparison with the Beatles White Album. Didn't have to listen close to hear the depth of sound stage difference between a 1968 vinyl record, and the newest 2009 box set digital remastered CD. The digital version is pure, exceptionally clean, and so clear, wow, the voices. separated, and very distinguishable, but the sound stage is a bit shallow when compared to the original vinyl release. Even the FM radio is super clear, I use an outdoor antenna, Magnum Dynalab-ST-2, its needed for reception on the beach, radio waves don't bounce right. I'm getting the greatest FM sound, better than I have ever had from radio. Emo what a great toy. I'm having a bit of withdraw from the long waiting time, no more waiting for the much anticipated, beyond all expectations, XMC-1, all gone. lol We all need something to wait for in life

Delivered, installed, tweaked, and running great! Turntable hasn't sounded this good ever. I found the menu easy to navigate and understand. If you are on the fence about buying, go ahead and climb over, it's a great processor. By the way, this is my first product from Emotiva and couldn't be happier.

Mine was delivered last Thursday, just as I was leaving to go out of town for the weekend. Had to wait until last night to install, and didn't get to play around with it very much (the entire family was in bed). Then tonight I have to be out also. It's killing me!

Received my XMC-1 on 10/9, connected it to my system on the 10th, this weekend will put it through its paces. One good sign, after I entered the various settings from my UMC-1, I updated the firmware... kudos to the Emotiva team as that was a significant process improvement. I'll try to post something up on Sunday after I get a chance to do so critical listening.

Received my XMC-1 last Thursday, 23-Oct, and had it connected and operational in less than an hour. I calibrated and completed setup on Saturday. Everything is working as advertised. It sounds a little better than the Denon AVR-3808Ci it replaced and I'm anticipating it will sound even better once Dirac is released. Pairing with the Harmony Ultimate remote was a bit of a challenge, but everything is triggering correctly now. The USB input is showing an incorrect bit rate, but I'll wait until the fix is released and installed before playing with it to get it right.

Yes, I have been setting up and re-organizing my systems for 2 days now. I have not got the XMC-1 totally dialed in yet. But I can tell right out the box, my Dire Straits SACD has never sounded better! The menu is very intuitive. Now if I can get my universal remote to play nice. ...
also.. No bugs for me so far. Triggers work perfect. Don't need the ERT-3 trigger device anymore.

All good...I'm back in Singapore...now there must be some more owners ... I can believe with amount of traffic in here that there are less than 150 owners 'fessing up here.

I got mine almost 2 weeks ago, finally got it installed and set up last week. VERY happy so far. The only issue I had was the trigger for my UPA-200. I got it yesterday but haven't put it in. I replaced a PT 7020A processor. So far the sound quality is a bit less edgy ? Much more warm, like the XSP-1. I am still exploring all the menu options, there are quite a few different options.

I got mine almost 2 weeks ago, got it installed and set up same day. Spent several days playing with the various settings, finally got most of them setup the way I want them. The first 36-48 hours it didn't sound as good as the UMC-200, then it blossomed nicely and sounds very good and has only gotten better with time. It's the best PrePro I've heard so far.Smooth and very detailed especially in Direct mode. Really wanting to see how Dirac on the XMC-1 compares to Dirac on my stereo system. Fantastic value, beats out the Marantz 8801 by a nice margin.

Ordered XMC-1 on Thursday with another XPA-5 (for my LX521). Sent upgrade card via fedex. Arrived on Friday morning. Received shipment notification at 5:00PM Friday. Now, my wife watches more movies than I do and LOVES good sound, but I had better: 1) Buy her a years worth of pedicures 2) $500 at Zappos, Dansko, or Retiring my Pioneer SC-07 which just now started shutting down on occasion. Here comes Dirac in my very lively room...
