I bet if you turn the input from auto to surround or stereo/direct your volume will be much improved. Remember to turn it down before you do so....I find -40 quite of from my Oppo 105

I just upgraded my Dirac LE to Full. When I connected the software to the XMC (Macbook Pro running Windows 7 via parallels), I got a massive THUMP from the subs. I have dual 18's so it shook the house pretty well. I have FW 3.0 loaded.

Yikes, just completed loading Dirac filters, popped in a movie, and with each click of the volume knob I get a loud THUMP. Major movement in the driver cones. I will be very not pleased if they are damaged.

A few hard restarts using the switch on the back seems to have resolved the volume knob thumping.

A few hard restarts using the switch on the back seems to have resolved the volume knob thumping. I just got full installed and had the exact same issue, loud thump as soon as I activated Dirac and thumping with each step of the volume. hard reset fixed it as well but worth noting that it has happened to more than one user.
