Hi Tony, I signed up last night. After making an account will it automatically tell you if there is a package on the way? I tried signing up for MYCHOICE but its not available in my area. I live in a remote part of the Yukon in Canada and UPS doesn't deliver here per se , they use other carriers. Basically it should notifies you of any packages sent to your address, the sender and when the package is set to arrive. But living in YT, I have no clue to what it would do for you. EDIT -- When emotiva populates the email addresses in their shipping program, UPS Quantum view will send an email with the tracking number. <-- this is what they did in the past, but I didn't get one for the microphone. Tony Yup, that was how I felt too, which is why I asked. I have two possibilities here, either it hasn't shipped or the program wont work for my location. Either way it wont get here any faster whether I know or not.

I signed up with UPS yesterday & received my tracking number from UPS yesterday. My package was shipped on the 22nd and will receive it on the 30th. It was shipped ground. I don't know why 3 lbs package should be shipped ground? But the good thing is I will receive it before new year.

The good thing about these tracking programs like UPS and FedEx is that you can see every step in the process as your package makes its way to you.
The bad thing about these tracking programs like UPS and FedEx is that you can see every step in the process as your package makes its way to you.
I jest of course, definitely like to know where things are. However, there have been times when I wondered how come it was in so and so a place for 10 hours and so on. It is also nice, for a small fee, to be able to schedule a delivery window for when you would like your package delivered. That way you can make sure to be home or not be taking a nap and not hear the delivery person ring the doorbell.
No connection to UPS or FedEx, just a satisfied customer.
Looking forward to the 29th when my mic kit should be delivered.
Regards,
Steve

OK, I am stumped... just downloaded my Dirac application...
Ran it (Windows 8) and it identifies the XMX-1 on the network, but there is nothing else showing. The instructions say I should be able to see my configuration, but everything else is dimmed. What am I missing here?
Mic is on UPS truck for delivery today...
Thanks
Mel
False alarm.. always read manual closely.. head to set up XMC-1 Dirac settings
Mea culpa

I don't have the mic (duh) but on the first page when I start Dirac it finds the XMC-1 and displays the ip address then the main screen shows that I have the xmc-1 and a 7.1 system but no mic and that's as far as you can go.

Ordered my XMC-1 on 29-Sep-2014. I received my key 22-Dec-2014 and the mic kit shipped 23-Dec-2014, tracking provided by UPS My Choice. Emotiva is not supplying tracking for the mic kits. Thanks for the post XTC I ordered Sept 26 (after being on waiting list) and received my key on 12/19/14 and I am still waiting on the Mic. Based on your info I suspect it will be here any day as well! Just a follow up, I came home today and Dirac was sitting on the front porch! So, for others the previous info may help you figure out where you are at. Phil PS no email notification from emotive or ups.

I got Dirac Kit almost two weeks ago and still no code. The MAC version may be out before I get my code. I can't believe it's the 24th and this is the situation.

However, there have been times when I wondered how come it was in so and so a place for 10 hours and so on. Regards, Steve As an example of this. Tracking my mic shipment, the package took 14 hours to get from Franklin to Knoxville. If I were smart, which I have proven on this board multiple times that there is a question about that, I would have driven to Franklin and picked the package up myself.
I want to point out that in no way is this Emotiva's fault or even UPS. It just happens to be the shipping schedule.
Still on track for a Monday delivery.
Regards,
Steve

Sometimes the shipping schedule/process doesn't make sense. I ordered something from Costco, which they say shipped on 12/22. UPS tracking shows the package is at their Ontario location today which is about an hour away from me. Estimated delivery is next Tuesday. Why? Because Costco sent it "select 3-day delivery." So I guess even if you are one day away, since it is being shipped 3-day delivery then by golly they make sure it takes 3 days.

Yes, no rhyme or reason. Sometimes ignorance is bliss, or at least it keeps your blood pressure lower.
I have had shipments that start at the originator's location, go to another location in a difference city, go back to the city of origin, then finally start heading in the proper direction.
At least I know I will get it eventually.
Regards,
Steve

Received the MIC this afternoon (a very nice Christmas present for myself).
After the kids went to bed I did a first DIRAC test run.
Well overall I'm satisfied with the results.
