Shipping roughly 25 a day and they can get everyones shipped out in roughly two weeks? I would have guessed there would have been more than 250 XMC's sold, but I'm usually wrong about stuff like that.

Maybe Emo have only sold a few hundred so far. I know some potential buyers passed on their first opportunity because they wanted to see reviews of Dirac. Whatever the number of units sold, I'll be happy when my tracking email is received and even happier when the package is delivered and I thank Emotiva for creating such an amazing processor at an unbelievably affordable price.

Mine is "Out for Delivery" I'm jealous. Keep us posted on your experience of updating the firmware and your thoughts on sound improvements. I already think the XMC sounds amazing, so if Dirac can improve on that, I'll be very impressed. |

Mine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. It was a nice surprise. I ordered some air filters for the house, so when I saw the UPS tracking information yesterday, I assumed it was that. Today I decided to see where my "filters" were and saw they had departed Franklin!
Now I couldn't care less about the air filters!

Just put in on a USB stick and update like usual. As for DIRAC it's run on your computer connected to the same network that your XMC-1 is on. Once the sensitivity and output are set for the mic and channels, you take the nine measurements with the mic in the indicated positions and from there the filters are created and downloaded to the XMC-1. It really is this simple. |
