Could this mean xpr amps for Canada again? Maybe an xpa7 in my future... could this also mean no more duties? As it's already across the border... (fingers crossed)

That's Awesome!!! I'm going to have to call them Monday. I have an order that's on hold due to XPA 5 stock. It's supposed to ship to my address in the U.S.on Tuesday. But according to the podcast they say fulfillment will be done through the U.S and "orders will magical show up at the door". Does this mean they can now ship direct to me in Canada and I don't have to worry about extra shipping and duties or brokerage fees? I know I still have to pay tax but it saves me a trip to the border. Now I'm going to be anxious all weekend.
Carm
P.S I have to say when I ordered my XMC 1 there was a screw up and my order shipped late and they messed up on my delivery address and accidentally shipped it to me in Canada instead of my U.S address. They went over and above anything I would expect from any company. They paid for all the import cost and expedite shipping to me without me even asking. This kind of customer service is what makes Emotiva in a class of its own. You would be hard pressed to find a bussines out there that would even consider the idea of doing that for a customer . Thank You Emotiva!!! You have a customer and advocate for life.

This is really a good news.
My XMC-1 just broke down after only 6 days of usage (does not boot, got stuck in "Starting Up" screen). I am waiting for the RMA shipping quote from Toronto to Emotiva and back but I would probably wait for their repair facility to open here if it is more than $150CAD. Good thing I did not sell my old receiver yet.

In my opinion, it should be Winnipeg, Montréal, Ottawa or NB. In those areas, you have more chances of having bilingual staff. However, for practical purposes, It will probably be in Toronto, because of direct flights.

I believe staff should be multi-lingual, speaking English, French and Tennessee. ;-)

With modern shipping, the barrier isn't distance, it's the border; anywhere north of the border is close enough. Toronto is a major shipping and air hub, directly north of Tennessee, so is the logical choice (only 1-1/2 hours drive from me).
Language is a non-issue; except for a few back-woods grandparents, all Francophones are bilingual. I would stay out of Quebec, simply because of some tedious anti-English language laws, and the legal, financial and hassle burdens that imposes.
Winnipeg is too damn cold. Vancouver has excellent climate and a beautiful part of the country, but should be rejected as too far from me. Sincerely /b
