According to Mike's Weather Page the updated path has it moving west-north-west over Long Island and western MAsshole. Maybe better for me in MetroWest (eastern) MAsshole.

Here's a site I like to use. You can manipulate the map by going to the bottom of the page and moving the cursor hour by hour thru the week. This view has it going very far to the northwest. You can also zoom in and out.

Yes! Windy.com is awesome….I discovered it a few months ago when the National Weather Service “upgraded” their display and it was soooo bad in my opinion, I couldn’t deal with it any longer and went looking for a better free alternative. I have no use for the Windy app….I simply use their website. has more than everything I’m looking for with with an elegant display.

Major bummer… the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest is closing their doors after 17 years. I’ll certainly miss this local event. www.audiofest.net/

My 18 month old LG OLED TV just had an unusual catastrophic failure. Sunday night we turned off the TV and went to bed. No one else entered that room for almost 12 hours and the TV was definitely "off". FYI we do not have children or share our home with anyone else, so I know no one else entered that room. When my wife went in Monday morning to watch TV, it started to turn on, then the screen went wonky and blipped off. Upon inspection she found what looked like a half dollar sized portion of the screen shattered. It looked kind of like a bullet hole but without a hole. This erupted from behind the screen and I know it because its pushed outward and the protective layer on the outside of the screen is intact. Anyone else heard of such a thing?

That is another reason why I chose Anthem for their ARC correction software.

Where else but my Church can I learn to use a Broadcast Caliber Camera? No where. Amazingly fun. I will be practicing on sound checks to get my focus, and pulls and pushes and framing precisely.

I have been learning more things recently, and had been less and less a fan of President Kennedy, but I did love part of his speech. We do these and the other things not because they are easy, but because they are hard. Being the best you can means it's hard. It is supposed to be. It is like discipline. It is funny, I was always this easy going kid with electricity character. Path of least resistance. My Brother was case hardened. Tough, most likely to be getting some pretty harsh discipline. My Sister the eldest was punished for not watching over us better. She is a very gifted and bright person. Me? I know enough to be a bit cheeky without being turned over the knee you know. Well mostly anyway. My faith is about doing the things that are hard. Service to my church and others. My group last night further make my resolve more real to me. I still hang onto my child like curiosity. It keeps me young, and my attitude will never be my age. But the Lord will help guide this most wreckless at times person named Vincent Chen.

I am in training for next few weeks for work. You really find out where people's heads are at. Instructor needs a volunteer to do something important and difficult but necessary for the learning. No one volunteers. He says if no one does I will pick someone at random. I thought that was cool. So I volunteered. I said if I was going to make a mistake this is the place to do it where I don't break anything, and it won't be the last time I look stupid. So I perform this task, and it is the hardest I have done in a long time with many details to get right. No one except one person, sort of helped me. Yes I was struggling a bit and the stress was palpable. But I successfully completed it correctly and got praise from my instructor. A couple of the students liked how I did it too. But many were radio silence, and not participating really at all. I proved to my instructor I will do what it takes and yes, I am not comfortable with it, but I will do it. Not sure if anyone else will. Not my problem. But I prevailed and over came my trepidation of the process and later even got more involved where clearly others wanted nothing to do with it. So my instructor knows I am engaged and vested in the course. I even asked him questions he did not have answers for he never heard before but still on point with what we are learning. I didn't really liked what happened today, but because I took one for the team, and the instructor asked others to help me out, and flew mostly solo on this, he I think respects me now. I have always been in your face I will do it! Foolish as it may seem, if it means good things later from it. Sign me up!

I have friends I have known for many years. They know I am immature, short tempered, and impatient at times, and impetuous, incorrigible. Now for my bad points.

During training I am the only one using a camera along with audio. Even the instructor is not using a camera which is odd. He wasn’t sure if everyone was engaged and threatened he would make it mandatory for everyone to use cameras to see if you are engaged and paying attention. Well Chief got you beat here says my Sony a6400 as my webcam vs. my too big Panasonic 4K UHD Camcorder. So the threat is an idle one to me. So silly how what should be normal anyway is used as a threat for what is wanted. Stupid that really.
