Is everyone aware that Emotiva is a Manufacturer ? Of every component in the system? I would bet good money that some component in the system is purchased by Emotiva. Once upon a time Tektronix made their own resistors but now they are made with such precision cheaply (at low cost) that it is not worth making their own resistors. Why don't you call them and ask them. |

You have 30 days to judge the product and if you are not satisfied for any reason you return it and receive a refund. |

Emotiva will buy a vendors dac and write code for the specific functions it wants to utilize. They buy other products and write code for the operating system for the processors. They more than likely provide specifications for certain products that they want to use like their partnership with Dirac and so on. I agree with you all that knowing what is a proprietary product should not really matter to us as we want the end-user experience to measure the success of any one product line. I think they are doing a great job and really looking forward to seeing the new subs on the website. This company is the best example of a no-brainer that I have ever met!  |

O no, I agree with you. I love my Stealth 8s, but Emotiva really boned the last sub series. Get these out there and get some reviews already! These things take time. They had to grow a bunch of trees for the wood cabinets and paper cones. They had to start a rubber plantation in South America and I heard they dug a hole a mile deep in Canada to get the iron ore. I tell you they are working overtime to get these on sale and reviewed. |
