Looking good for my purposes. Eager to see the S15 specs as well.

In looking at the specs for the subs, it shows that they only measure down to 24Hz. This is strange given their design which would seem to indicate that they could go down to at least 20Hz. While the in room response will probably be lower than 24 I can't understand why these subs would be spec'd out like this especially when their goal is to compete with the likes of other mfg. like SVS, HSU, etc. We'll have to wait until the S15 is released to see if they have improved on these numbers.

The User's Manual states the Airmotiv S15 is 20-200 at +/-3db.
Also just noticed they posted frequency response graphs for the 10 and 12. The normal graph for the S12 is not showing up, but the LF is.

Rory has released very conservative number for these subs. There are huge variations in the stated specifications of subwoofers on the market. I see a well know subwoofer stating 250 watts of RMS power... who knows under what conditions... and then the same amplifier is rated at 1,000 watts of "short term" power... really? You believe this as a customer? I don't. And it uses a BASH engine with a 300 watt maximum power consumption... magic, I guess. Same with LF extension. Under what conditions? All of our numbers are free field without boundary gain. As in, conservative. The you look at them cost-wise compared to their direct competition, I think they are extremely competitive. We have benchmarked subs from many brands in the development of these models and they are all outstanding at their respective price points. Also, the BasX and Airmotiv subs are relatively compact in size. This is so that they work in real homes. We can get more output from a giant box... but this is challenging for most people.. So, we have tried to find the sweet spot all around. We invite comparison...

Of course... we'll have reviews out there very soon.
Really though, as much as I like reviews the proof is in the pudding.
If the product looks interesting, and it meets your needs just try it out. You can trust your ears and your eyes to tell you if it performs as advertised. Review or not. That's why we give it 30 days in your own home with your own gear to decide for yourself.
Nothing to lose by jumping in. 😁

I was reading about the SVS PB16-Ultra subwoofer. Seems like overkill but there are other gigantic subs out there so obviously a healthy market. I wonder what the freight charge on 170 lbs is?

On thing that bothers me is the fixed rubber feet. I have always put my subs on casters. This makes rolling out to clean easier as well as for moving around to test sub position.
The S15 is 95+ lbs. This is too heavy for one person to do unless you're 25 years old and strong as a moose.
My Rythmik F15HP Subs came with removable rubber feet and a standard M mount thread. It was easy to swap in casters.

Call a friend with a forklift.

It was a four screw plate caster that looked great and worked great. You say the Emo sub has fixed rubber feet? Looks from the photo like a screwed in foot? (Can't be removed?) I googled a M mount thread (?) but still confused, is that some sort of thread insert for casters or tripods? PS: Most forklifts I've known won't fit thru a residentila door. Can't you simply remove the existing feet and use a low plate mount caster? Just curious. WC-Chuck BTW, no offense at all to Emo since the new subs look really nice, except for several minor issues for me, but why would you want to replace your F15HP? (I read nothing but raves about that sub.) Whoops, I had the FV15HP in my fuzzy brain but I went back and see the F15HP had great reviews too.

Not sure what it means - hoping Emotiva chimes in - or I'll call support. M4 M8 M12 etc are standard metric thread/nut sizes. This is to replace my DIY 1259 subs, not the F15HPs which are more expensive.
