Not to add confusion, so please just take this note as a comment.
You have one of the most aggressive 3-channel configurations Klipsch has ever made with the KLF-30's and C7. The sub will not keep up with them in the slightest. If you were to replace the satellites with RS-7's, 62's or RB-5's...or even additional KLF's...you'd have one of the premier Klipsch configurations that have existed over the past 25 years.
Tl;dr - Follow through with what Axis and chuckie are saying.

So, I ran "load default", hooked up the klf30, sounds horrible. I now need to run it up to level 50 to get any response from the woofers. Sounds bad. Next step? I have it on STEREO, it won't let me select emo q calibrate. Plus I set the mains to large and everything else to none. Enhanced bass, sub and everything else is set to none or off Damn this is not fun...

Panasonic Blu-ray, Playing Metallica Enter Sandman CD, not a copy of. If I turn the level up to 65, it's loud, very, and the bass is barely there but absolutely no wow factor.

thrasher , I mean this in the best possible spirit of offering my suggestion but please be mindful that dust is not good for electronics. Drops mike, leaves room quietly.

I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see what the problem is!

I select Stereo and see this. It then goes away and displays this.

Ultimately, I wish there was a company or someone closer to me that could simply come and figure this out for me. My patience are a bit thin over the setup of all of this and I need an EASY button... Emotiva XPA5, UMC200, DynAudio 12" sub, Klipsch KLF30's and rear Klipsch Satellite speakers... When I heard the Klipsch KLF30's before buying them, they were hooked to an older 4 channel Rotel amp that was being ran as a 2 channel. He was running an older Denon AV. The amount of bass that was coming from the KLF's was amazing. I was sold. I have since hooked all of my pieces up, done the Emo EQ, plus tweaked the db's, adjusted the low end hz, changed the speaker size on the mains from Large to Small, adjusted the crossovers ranging from 40-80, re ran Emo EQ and set everything yet again... This setup will go painfully loud, but the bass is only really coming from the sub. There isn't hardly any air moving from the KLF's, as there should be. And, to answer the common question, NO the speakers are not out of phase. The system doesn't sound "bad" by any means, but I am not blown away as I was when I demo'd them. I know these mains should have enough bass that I shouldn't even really need to be running the sub. Anyone have any fool proof idea on how to get this system pumping? Or, anyone close to zip code 98248? Thank you for any help I would wonder if you were listening to the speakers with the bass levels turned way up or a loudness setting modifying the bass output unknowingly when you demoed them.

I select Stereo and see this. It then goes away and displays this. That is perfect Thrasher. That answers the question of if you are getting a proper signal. Thank you. Now what are the current speaker settings on the UMC-200 ? Do not change them ! Just report back what you see. I posted pics of the settings showing that, didn't I? Or am I missing something?

It has to be a crossover and dB setting somewhere that needs adjusted. Emotiva at one point had me go into the EQ and change settings that Ultimately adjusted the bass. I can't remember how to do it, but they said it needed to be adjusted evenly on both ends to make it correct. Don't you love it when guys talk like I just did? A bunch of thingamajigs and whatsits.

Not sure if I have anything to add, and I don't want to confuse you further thrasher. On my Sherbourn PT7020C4 in the menu I can go into "input set up" and bump up the db's to balance out for any low level inputs. Basically if my CD player is playing loud, but the Bluray player is not, I can adjust the db up in the Bluray all the way up to +10db. It makes a world of difference in the output you achieve at said volume. I think geebo is the one that pointed that out for me when I was setting mine up.
Try not to get frustrated thrasher, sometimes these things take longer than expected.

One thing that is odd is that now for it to be loud, the level needs to be around 65 or so. Whereas it used to be around 45 or so before dumbing it all down.
When the front is set to large, it's not allowing you to adjust the crossover down. Only when you select small, can you adjust the crossover. When the fronts are set to small, then the system assumes the presence of a sub. Also, being small, it turns enhanced bass off and doesn't allow you to turn it on.
Yes, I ran eq when I first got it. As I said earlier, it wouldn't let me run it today. But I stopped doing that and have been following along on this thread as instructed.

Seems like if I could run emo q, it would get the levels closer, as they were previously. Now I have to have the levels much higher to get similar results. If I knew how to adjust the EQ, maybe that would work? The cables aren't old.

Now, if I run in direct it sounds ok. The bass is present, but you have to have it up around 65-69 which is freaking loud and the bass isn't stunning. Sounds well balanced, just not even close to where I know it should be. So NO they do not BOOM. The house I auditioned these in literally shook the room, walls, paintings, etc. There was a ton of air moving through the ports, it was very impressive.

What reason should I NOT adjust the dB on the channels? Wouldn't I increase the signal strength?

If the bluray player has RCA stereo outputs, try that instead of HDMI to the UMC-200.
