I asked this question to Keith and he wasn't sure as of yet, and he also wasn't sure about if someone has purchased the Dirac Full for XMC-1 would it work for the EMP-1, I would have to assume it won't.

Out of curiosity, is the 300 really 2 channels or is it 3? I'd have guessed the 2 channel to be a "200".

I think the 300 is 2 X 150W for 300W and the 500 is 5 X 100W for 500W.

If I was an Emotiva employee and wanted to have a little fun, I wouldn't have corrected the writer for Absolute Sound. I'd let them do a glowing write up about how truly wonderful the equipment sounded.. ya know - all the food-related analogies you could possible want. After publication buy an ad in the next issue correcting the reported price. Best part is, I bet the advertising department wouldn't even catch it just the check for the ad.

But that's just me.

Those little DC-1 style amps would be great in a 2-channel office set up. Of course, I'd have to buy another DC-1 but I don't think I'd mind that.

YES, Thanks again to tchaik for the pics and recon! I'm interested in the Emersa line and have no hesitation in the use of the ICEPower 300ASC modules. 150 watts in a small, good looking pkg with a prepro to match. Thanks Emotiva.

I love that idea. Everyone would rave about how great it sounded until they found out it was "too cheap to be worthy"

I just can't get over the high end market that costs 10 to 100 times more.
