Loved those stuffed taters and the chicken meatballs...got any leftovers? There were some leftover, but I don't think they lasted long. They were good. I am looking forward to the BBQ today!

This had been a truly unbelievable day/night...Emotiva is here and they are bringing it! We had a blast yesterday and last night. I was really surprised at the great turnout yesterday for the M&G. I would easily expect double the attendees today.

I think today is gonna be even better...though I probably won't go as crazy as last night...a 10 hr drive tomorrow morning lying ahead and all.
And yes, for those there last night, I am alive and well...with no hangover. Got up and ran 5 miles this morning and feel great. As long as I stick to beer...everything is fine.

Had a great time yesterday and the food rocked too. On an Emo note, I must say those 6.2's with the sub sound amazing. Killer two channel option. Okay so the ERC-1, XPA-2 and USP-1 backing them up played a big part too.

Just returned back to the hotel and reflecting on the whole experience with a glass of wine... the entire experience was extremely worthwhile for me. I told Cathy that I'd be back next year! The entire Emo staff are very friendly and amicable. This really felt like I was visiting family. The bands were great! Although I didn't win in the raffle (I never have!) I feel that I'm a winner at having met the Emo family and so many of the forum members. Hope all of you who attended have a safe trip home. All those that couldn't, plan ahead for next year! Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and the UMC-1... it definitely exists! A lucky winner today (not me! ) will receive the first production unit! Best Labor Day for me.. no labor and the tunes sounded great! Those 6.2 speakers call my name in the middle of the night!! I've never heard speakers of their size sound so full. Tremendous sound stage and depth. If my credit cards would allow, I'd be driving home with a pair tomorrow! Emotiva are the best. Where else can you meet the entire staff, the owner, the VP of operations, General Manager/chief engineer, etc. etc.? To the Emotiva staff... my heartfelt thanks for everything. See you next year! BTW, vincedog3, please post your pics... I saw you took a lot and with a professional-looking camera.

So great..That I have a pair sitting in the back of my suv on the way back to Wisconsin. They'll take up residence in my bedroom.

The 6.2's called me from the 2 channel room at Emofest. I too brought a pair home in the suv. What a sweet pair. Can't wait to match them with the sub later this year or early next.
I too was impressed with the amazing staff at Emotiva. This company's vision and passion are second to none.

oh yes..I noticed his camera as well. That was a big honking pro looking one. I just had my little Sony that fit in my pocket. I felt so...inadequate seeing his.

Ok....so there were 200+ people there having a great time. I don't suppose ANYONE might have been able to get the slightest bit of new intel on the UMC ?
C'mon guys.....WTF? (I don't consider 'it's way cool and the OSD is awesome' to be particularly interesting information....we knew that)

(I don't consider 'it's way cool and the OSD is awesome' to be particularly interesting information....we knew that) R the UMC-1 exists..we all saw and heard them at emofest. Most of us had our hands on one. We were told that all the parts for manufacturing are at the factory. they are waiting for approvals from some of the technology licensing firms, Dolby, DTS, etc. Once they get that, they will start mass production. They are planning on making thousands of them to help fill the pipeline quickly. The thing works, works well, and has a VERY nice user interface that puts the one in my Integra dhc 9.9 to shame.

It's great to see all these usernames on the list and now be able to put faces with them. It was a great weekend - I plan to go back next year and take more friends! To those who missed it, find the way to make time next year. I almost missed it, but my wife encouraged me to go...then came along with my kids. Franklin is a great town, so we all had a lot of fun. And, I am stoked...and thrilled with my new USP-1!

It sounds like everyone had a great time at Emofest. I wish I could have attended but work was calling- maybe next year. Did anyone from the forum win any of the raffles? I am also curious as to how great the deals were at the fest? I saw a few members ended up going home with new gear.

I was one of the fortunate winners of $100. I never win anything and just commented on how my day got off to a rocky start with a flat tire leaving the motel. Guess what the $100 is going for!

We kept Chris in the warehouse busy bringing out boxes! The deals were great. We each got $50 off certificates and they had everything at reduced price. The USP-1 was $319.20, so I got it for that less another $50!
