Might be because not all Vinyls are LPs... I have plenty of plastic, but prefer vinyl!! I prefer vinyl myself as well.

Just got my T1s delivered at my office. I failed to realize that I would need help loading them in the car. I'm in trouble

Forty pounds apiece for speakers that size is pretty surprising. I'll bet the Klipsch KLF-20's are about the same size and weigh twice that.

So 40 pounds is heavy or light for a tower? I can lift 40 pounds no problem but the box size makes it difficult. May need to get them home tomorrow after I've secured a victim..I mean friend.

Heh, Yea, the T1 towers were about 53lbs packed and 42L x 14H x 17W. I'm glad UPS had to carry them up to the 3rd floor and not me .

Just checked, the T1 is heavier than B&W 684 S2 which I've heard and quite like. The ELAC UF5 is also 40lbs so I'm not sure why you said it's surprising. Not sure if you meant it in a positive way or negative way.

I have guests over leaving tomorrow. I can squeeze them in the back seat of my sedan if I really wanted to but I'll come prepared tomorrow. People in my office must be thinking I'm crazy because my cube is chock full of audio gear which should be installed at home.

LC, let me know when you want to ditch your KLF 20's..... You sir will be waiting a mighty long time!!! I've been putting off speaker upgrades as I just can't decide what to do. I've wanted to try an RF-7II/RC-64II front stage but I'm afraid this would be a lateral move at best and can't seem to find anyone that has gone from the KLF's to the RF-7II/RC-64II to give an honest review. Any how the KLF-20 are great two channel speakers especially with the Crites upgrades I've done so I'll be keeping them no matter what. Sorry for the off-topic, now back to the new Airmotiv speakers saga!!!

LC, maybe you can weigh in on khurram as to why the Klipsch KLF-20's weigh nearly 100 lbs. Are there rocks inside?
