/just kidding! I couldn't resist.
It IS nice to see some bigger towers! Bigger is always better.

I just wish they would have stayed away from the Darth Vader look with the towers and centers. It doesn't look bad on the bookshelf speakers cut with angles and all but I am not digging the towers and center cut outs. Maybe they can offer them for $50 cheaper and not do those extra cut outs....hahaha

My prediction is that with a compliment of T2, C2, and E2 loudspeakers plus Airmotiv subs in a typical living room that have been treated with Dirac from the XMC or RMC and proper amplification, will perform as well or better than anything you can throw tons of money at. This. Say what you want about the look but these things sound fantastic and ultimately that is what matters. The little brothers (T1, C1, E1) sound fantastic and the new guys are those with a lot more muscle. sorry to start a rash of looks bashing. I have no doubt they sound great! from having the first gen AM4 and now the AM6...I am stunned how great they sound in my super untreated office... these newly designed speakers i bet will sound amazing and at incredibly cheap prices! If i was starting all over and had no desire for DIY I would give these a spin (mostly cause theyare going behind a screen so I cant see them anyhow haha) reading a few sights from CES....they DO sound incredible for the price

Is good to read from Hair Nick these T2 sound better than T1, maybe EMOTIVA is starting to gain good speakers reputation, But not ready to take a leap of faith and blind-buy them yet. Wait ´till some of our audiophile fellows, test them and write about it.

Have "our audiophile fellows" ever written a bad review? The reviews will all state how great they sound for their price point and will pick a couple of nits. Only you will be able to decide when you hear them whether they're good enough or not; waiting for reviews is a waste of time.

Many of them have not been consistently kind...... Emotiva is still perceived by some to be the new kid on the block / underdog. I would expect some level of honesty.... even though I put little weight in reviewers.

A little story Big Dan told me. Dan told me he was building little speakers in his garage for a business. When the Man in the suit came to see where the speakers were being made he was greeted by Big Dan in a robe and dressed like the Dude in the Big Lebowski.
He freaked the Man in the suit out in the beginning with speakers and is still freaking the Man in the suit out with speakers. I think we do not know everything about Big Dan and he is a Speaker Dude with a plan.

So far we have been blowing people's minds with the T2 towers...especially when they hear them and know they can get a pair for 1K. The whole room that we have setup with the XMC, XPA7, T2, C2, E2, plus S12 subs is around 8K. You can put together a hell of a theater for less than a single pair of speakers down the hall. Seeing people's reactions to that is what makes shows like this really fun. You can see the lightbulbs go off in their heads like they just discovered the holy grail

I thought another line of speakers were in the works or are these them? Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought there was another "reference" line coming out?

We brought 36 new products with us here to this show that weren't here last year and we aren't done yet. There are some really cool things in the pipeline that we will continue development on when we get back. We never stop!

I am hoping my local Emotiva dealer brings the new speakers in. I will go listen for sure and maybe bring the center home to try it. And, I inow there has been much debate about the brick and mortar move, but I like it. It was great to see Emotiva sitting there with McIntosh, Naim, Moon, Prima Luna, etc. And, to see their speakers there with the Golden Ear, Maggies, Vandersteen, Martin Logan...that will be awesome.

I thought another line of speakers were in the works or are these them? Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought there was another "reference" line coming out? When people get in front of a pair of Stealth 8 powered monitors they say, Wow ! They can make the drivers and can make some very "statement" or "reference" speakers from those drivers and may even up that.

I think at this rate Emotiva may actually come out with a toaster because of the power of memes. Do it for the lols Emotiva, I want to see a toaster prototype at Axpona!
