We really wish the clock could be a possibility but no go. Thanks for this final nail Nick! I really do realize how expensive it would be to produce and that there would be a loss on them. I would be Very interested in finding out if their are spare parts for the XPR-1s, Id be willing to purchase, store and stock the ones that will be lost forever and render my amps useless. I do think they will last a very long time but I also don't want to be old and poor having to replace them with something else because theres no way to replace/repair them. Thanks for your time and all that you do for us on this forum and Emotiva. Nick

I thought another line of speakers were in the works or are these them? Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought there was another "reference" line coming out? When people get in front of a pair of Stealth 8 powered monitors they say, Wow ! They can make the drivers and can make some very "statement" or "reference" speakers from those drivers and may even up that. Hmm... I recall a podcast or forum post that the BasX and Airmotiv's weren't the only speaker lines. Maybe I'm just loosing my mind. Maybe Hair Nick can shed some light into this. Maybe I'm just getting old... lmao

Is good to read from Hair Nick these T2 sound better than T1, maybe EMOTIVA is starting to gain good speakers reputation, But not ready to take a leap of faith and blind-buy them yet. Wait ´till some of our audiophile fellows, test them and write about it. I'm an audiophile for over 35 years and I certainly listen and owned over the years a lot of very good and reputable brand name of speakers, that said, in 2011 I given a try on the complete Emotiva Reference series, with the ERT-8.3 , ERM-6.3 , ERM-6.2 , ERD-1 with keeping in mind that if it was not good enough compared to the hi-end speaker brand name on the market I was looking for at this moment, I will just have to send them back in the trial period for a refund, but guess what? 5 years later I still enjoying every seconds that I listen these speakers. They are in the same class of many big names of speakers only manufacturers. So to resume, Emotiva is already for me a good speaker manufacturer.

Agree. I was impressed when I saw this concept. Elegant. They look smaller than the T1 and T2. They are a concept. They are not real. The Airmotiv T1 and T2 are real.

Here is another photo of the T2 Towers. I can't wait to hear this set up. I'm certainly thinking about these after I upgrade the XMC-1.

Thank you for your post, had you the chance to compare EMOTIVA vs DEF TECH let´s say the T1 vs some of the bp series??
