I use the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation Systems on my SVS sub. They didn't improve the sound as far as I could tell, but they made a significant reduction in rattles and vibrations from my pictures hanging on the wall. I also use them and they make a huge difference and improvement in my case. The wooden floor in my room transmit so much sonic vibrations into my whole house, these SVS Soundpath nearly completely eliminate it. Plus the sorbothane surface is so sticky that my sub now has stopped traveling across the living room. Can the SVS be used on carpet? Or is there even a need for that?

For sure it can be used on any surfaces, to answer for the need of, it depends on too many points about your particular case, is your floor structure is basement concrete or suspended wood structure, what type of structure, is the structure transmitting easily vibrations or not, every case is unique and particular. Anyway adding vibrations damping under a sub could not be wrong.

I have had in the past to adjust the sub output lower because of vibrations from pictures, plates hanging on the wall. That has pretty much been tamed with Dirac. I do have an SVS sub. I may give these a shot.

Thanks guys. I may give it a shot one of these days if I have a spare $50 burning a hole. If nothing else, they look cool!
Concrete slab is at ground level.
