What??? 7 hours after the Christmas PodCast and no one has put in their $0.02 on Big Dan's info on the V3 board being finished. Listen right around the 6:20 mark on the PodCast. He says it's done/complete/vetted and should be shipping some time early February. Dolby Vision and HDR10 support included. emotiva.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/12.22.17emocastfinal-1.mp3For me, this information came two weeks too late. Based upon the information, and suggestions made, in the other (now edited) thread, I've moved on. I don't know why a simple question (now answered in the podcast) couldn't have been answered two weeks ago...

I will accept all and any good news graciously.

Especially carrying an XMC-1. I'm still stuck making a decision without all of the information. At least an XMC-1 with a V3 board will get me past the 4K switching problem. Merry Xmas Gary

Not really as close as you would think. I live in the Yukon Territories so i am on the opposite side of the continent as well as being 1600 miles from teh US border. Do they not have a representative in Oz though i suspect it will need to be bench tested on their gizmo LOLZ

Once you make it past the Great Barrier Reef you’ll be fine ... Swimming out of Sydney I'd be very lost if I went anywhere near the GBR. That 1600 miles my Commonwealth friend talked about, that's about how far in the wrong direction I'd have to swim. Merry Xmas to all Gary

Also don't want to hear any bs about website update difficulties. Takes a few minutes max. But but the podcast? Nope a new potential consumer wouldn't know about that either.

Hmmm looks like Emotiva "Officially Lied" Nay sayers cannot deny this one Geebo... You do understand that a Lie is an intentional untruth, and that's quite different from a mistake. Are all of us were of lying every time we miscalculate?

Are all of us were of lying every time we miscalculate? Absolutely correct. The nuns taught us that in elementary school. People are quick to call people liars whenever a mistake or miscalculation is made. Usually when they're looking for a excuse to call someone a liar.

Are all of us were of lying every time we miscalculate? I lie is also an intentional omission, or deception. If this were my company or yours for that matter wouldn't you have updated the website before or soon after the new information was published officially here in the lounge? I don't consider it a mistake on Emotiva's end as they have staff that is responsible for the official message. Also based on what Emotiva wanted the mods to delete here was proof of the prior website changes regarding the release delays. Good thing the internet is archived. I have no personal ax to grind, just enjoy trying to hold a multi million dollar company accountable. Also the excuses for Emotiva run extremely thick here.

Probably about time to lock this thread....
Why are we still beating this horse?
And, for the record, I'm also waiting on Atmos updates (Either to the XMC-1 or the RMC-1).

Everytime i see a post in one of these threads my heart skips a beat, is this really it is it really ready. And then i come in here and all i see is more of the pete and repete of the same horseshit. We all want this done and it will be done no one wants ti done more than me but when its done we will *bleep* about something else they did wrong. One day on the radio i heard some guy talking about this sort of thing, basically people can name 50 things that piss them off but have trouble think of a few that make them happy. Perhaps its time to work on those things.

Wow since when did hold company accountable = lock thread or move on? Since a few people have beaten the horse to death, continued to beat it senseless, and then beat it some more.... There hasn't been anything "new" on the topic posted since the "Merry Christmas" podcast, why continue to repeat the same story on the same topic?
