No HDMI connector problems here, either. Same here.

Now and then, currently now, I experience a freezing-frame on the screen. The video/audio pauses for about 1-2 seconds, then live tv again. Unplug the HDMI cable from HDMI OUT 1, then reinsert, problem gone . . . until some months later. Not a biggie, but, you know.
I guess I should get up from my easy chair and plug-out (as a foreign friend says) then plug-in.

I have had zero problems with HDMI connectors...in fact, I find them some of my favorites. Mine have all been easy to insert yet also still firmly held on. Handshaking? No major issues. For me, even the UMC-1 did pretty well. The XMC-1 has been great.

February is going to be the longest short month in history. You may say the same thing for March lol My how time flies, but its ok my upgrade aspirations have been severely curtailed by the dentist. Looks like im loosing a molar and gaining an implant which will take me quite some time to pay off sadly. I really need this molar to chew with , you know what they say, you dont eat you dont s**t you die.

Two years ago I lost a rear molar due to a horizontally impacted wisdom tooth, and then two weeks later had to have the wisdom tooth chiseled out. However the dentist and the oral surgeon said I didn't need an implant.

You guys are driving me nuts! I'm logging in every day to see if the HDMI boards are for sale yet. I keep seeing this thread updated and my hopes soar, only to come crashing down when I read the thread...

Guy on AVS tells me he's sick of waiting and he went out and bought a $3K Arcam receiver. Must be nice to have bottomless cash reserves!

Guy on AVS tells me he's sick of waiting and he went out and bought a $3K Arcam receiver. Must be nice to have bottomless cash reserves! I guess it depends on the situation. If he already has an HDR TV and he is limited by the AVR I can see how frustrating that would be. Also I look at cost on a NET basis, ie he can still sell his XMC-1 for maybe $1700 or so, so his NET cost on the Arcam is maybe $1300.

You can get the Arcam AVR390 for $1999 at Magnolia/Best Buy (MSRP is $2500). I went this morning to my local Best Buy/Magnolia and they offered it to me at that price. Not bad for a 7.2.4 Atmos/DTS-X receiver with 7 channels of amplification, full 4K (UHD) HDMI2.0a with HDCP2.2, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dirac Live full running at 96KHz/24bit

When is the board supposed to show up? I don't remember anymore it's been so long. Really, when is it supposed to show up? Seriously As far as I know what Dan said in the first post of this thread(copied below) is still the word on the V3 HDMI video board. Hi All, I know that many of your are anxiously waiting for the new V3 HDMI board to become available. Well, the good news is is that it is now complete and approved for release. We plan on releasing a beta units in a couple of weeks and then we'll roll out the boards in earnest in March. Apologies to all for the time it has taken to get this module out, but this new board is very complex and it has taken more time than we ever anticipated to get is working well and fully vetted. The good news is that it is rock solid and it is easily the best, most stable, and capable HDMI board we've ever produced. I've attached some photo's to show you how it looks, and also the let you see the quality of the OSD on 4k/60Hz source material. Thanks for your patience. Big Dan
