Well played, Emotiva. Your ongoing commitment and support are appreciated. The beautiful gift in this may be the updated version of Dirac? According to Lonnie (if I remeber correctly), it will be Dirac2.

XMC-2 announcement: The existing upgrade Atmos board to the XMC-1 that was previously announced isn't happening. Having two separate OS paths with the different chips were going to be far too expensive and time consuming for the engineering team. Instead, we will offer an upgrade path to a brand new XMC-2 unit with a trade in program. For any person who owns an XMC-1 with the V3 board, you can upgrade to a brand new XMC-2 for $650. If you have an XMC-1 without the V3 board, it will be $1,050 to upgrade. Basically getting a brand new unit for the price of what the Atmos board upgrade was going to be. We will have an official announcement hitting the site soon but wanted to give you the heads up first. Excellent news. Very excited to hear. How long will it take before the official announcement on the site? Will the brand new XMC-2 exchange come with 5 years warranty? What is the regular MSRP on XMC-2? Thank you in advance!

I'm assuming all will be told on the site soon, they are still busy at Axpona.

What is the point of the XPA HC-1 High Current Monoblock if they can be joined together to make a two channel, just asking.

Wow I am interesting in upgrading my Umc1 to Umc-2 . Just wondering if there is available a balance to unbalanced cables in order to power my surrounds via my UPA -500 in the meanwhile. The fronts are ok powered by 2 nd generation UPA-3 amp Mel

The fronts are ok powered by 2 nd generation UPA-3 amp Mel They didn’t come with the 5K RMC-1 So I’d bet you need to purchase what you need. I got some good quality cables from Amazon at a pretty reasonable price. I’m sure you meant, XMC-1, no?

Nick, Tell Dan to make out riggers for the T floor standing speakers an accessory for the whole line. I am proud of Boom for his review of the T2's. Boom echoed my view of my T2's and was spot on with the need for the out riggers.
