Well I have enough now to do the XMC-2 upgrade but they are out of stock again, I'm assuming one can't use their Emobucks towards the trade in, I have $46 or so and really don't need anything else and they expire early July, they originally expired in August but they had to reissue it as i tried to use them and the code wouldn't work, so now I'm at a dilemma to use them earlier on something I really don't need as much as I want to do the trade in but I'm guessing one can't use them towards the XMC-1 to XMC-2 trade up anyhow ?

Chad I'm pretty sure you can't double up on the promotional offers. I ended up using my Emobucks on the VSUB-1 transmitter/receiver system. I haven't tried them yet. I couldn't think of anything else that I needed. I might get my old turntable hooked up again so I considered a phono preamp, but working with subs is more realistic for now.

Yeah figured so as it says so on the product page, guess I don't need to use it haha I'm figuring with exchange, taxes and shipping it will cost me about $1700 CAD so I may opt out, I want it but really don't need the XMC-2 and with our crappy dollar it's very expensive for us up North. Any recent idea of timeframes after the trade up is paid and you get the sale confirmation email? If I understand correctly, you are supposed to get a shipping label to return your XMC-1(not sure how long it takes to receive that return label). Once they get your XMC-1 and inspect it, (not sure of current timeframe for inspection to occur) Then, your new unit is shipped and if you have the HDMI board upgrade, some refund applied. From order to receiving new unit is typically taking how long? I placed my order recently, so here's what you can expect... May 18 - Order Placed May 21 - Return label received May 22 - XMC-1 shipped May 27 - XMC-1 delivered June 4 - XMC-1 inspected and RMC-1L shipped So that's a little more than two weeks (including weekends, a USA holiday and shipping time). Considering the current pandemic related limitations and restrictions, I don't think that's too bad. The XMC-2 orders are taking a bit longer due to some parts procurement issues and the huge number of orders for them... Did you have to wait to receive the label or did you get an email you could print it, my buddy here who lives in Canada is bringing his XMC-1 down to a shipping company on the US side of the border(He's a truck driver) but he isnt sure if he has to wait for a label that ships to that address or if he can print it from an email and tape it on before he brings it down ?? I suspect that by the way their going, that the upgrade program could run into next January. Maybe by then the exchange rate will have improved. I'm not saying no to a trade-in. I'm really happy with what I've got and not going to consider it until they announce the end of the program.

I'm really happy with what I've got and not going to consider it until they announce the end of the program. I'm not too optimistic on the dollar improving, I remember back in 2010 when I purchased my two UPA-1's the dollar was par and I paid $600 CAD for them, it was much easier on the wallet back then, now using PayPal or Credit Card basically I have to add 40% to whatever I buy from the US and that hurts, because I then also have to pay my 13% tax on that much more which hurts even more again haha, the trade in is a great deal for us XMC-1 owners but being in Canada it just costs a lot more Chad

I am very impressed with the trade up offer. I was emailed a return label 2 days after purchase. Emotiva received my processor the next day, I live in TN, and shipped out my replacement the same day. It doesn’t get better than that!

Now 455 miles to go... so excited! As for it being there "tomorrow" several days ago, I forgot I paid for 7 day shipping now next day. Was $230 cheaper!

I got my box out of storage, I will pack it up Monday night and I'm meeting up with my buddy on Tuesday and he is bringing it into the US for me, saving me $150 as that's what UPS wanted, exactly like you mentioned, it gets very expensive to cross that imaginary line called the border, actually more than twice as much to ship it from my house than if it ships 40 miles south of me from the US side, so ridiculous haha. Your XMC-1 and my buddies XMC-1 are currently in a race back to Emotiva hahaha. Chad

Full House! Collecting accessories and packing the XMC-1 up for eventual trade in / return. I think I have all the bases covered and then some (even returning the original HDMI V1 board). * Batteries not included View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentI remember seeing your post about the accessories, so gathering up what I could find here, I somehow have 2 AM antennas, 3 FM Antenna bases, 2 Antenna connectors, 2 Mic Stands and 2 Trigger Cables haha. So do we get bonus points for handing extra stuff in lol, I figure I will have to at least pay for a new remote as the original owner I bought my XMC-1 from he had explained his grandson was using his XMC-1 remote as a hammer lol, it has a few dented corners and such

That’s been a while. Nice collection ... does that mean there’s a couple XMC’s out there without ... never mind. Ok, I’d say no credit, but! If you send it all in you’re paying forward, the next unit that comes in without a mic stand, no charge! Next with no trigger cable, got you covered! It’s on the creimes account! I actually tried to send in my V1 board but couldn’t fit it in.
