I was thinking of posting a few pics of a white egret I shot yesterday afternoon, but could not find that thread. Did it get deleted?

I just manually went thru the Green Room page by page and the thread is not there. Maybe its in another forum.

I'm fairly certain that it was in the Green Room. Maybe someone thought it was taking up too much room? There were a lot of pics in that thread.

Sometime back I started a thread with the title (something like) Post your favorite Picture not knowing the other thread existed. It too is missing.

I was PMed a month or so ago about this, started looking for it and got side tracked with one of my DIY projects. Anyhow I’ve had no luck either finding that thread and don’t see why it would get deleted. I say if no one finds the missing “All Things Photography” thread then feel free to start a new one.

May as well begin anew, eh? This shot was handheld with a Nikon 3200 with 24mp sensor, lens is a 55-300mm VR SWM, 450mm with the smaller sensor. I had to reduce the pixel count by more than half so the pro-boards would allow it. Bird is a white egret, very similar to a white heron, but the heron has a darker bill. I haven't seen these very often so I feel lucky to have shot this one. Didn't seem nervous, just kept fishing. Post pics, guys. Lets get this thread rolling!

These may be cached on your computer all these links including the google search links bring me to the "Oops, there was an error!" page here. So the two ‘result’ links should give you that error. But the google search line works, I just tried a different browser and I get more results. You must use the google search engine for this to work (copy and paste into google search, don’t just click): site:emotivalounge.proboards.com all things photography Here’s another one google returns, but that leads to a missing page: emotivalounge.proboards.com/thread/7329/all-photography-828555?page=5

I'm getting an error - not found. Right, those are examples of links the google search engine finds, but which no longer work. I post them to show where the pages used to reside (thread 7329), maybe Proboards (who Hosts the Lounge) could use the info to restore the page.

OK, changed the thread title, lets hope the old thread shows up somewhere, but til then, this will have to do unless someone has a brilliant idea.

Sold at our restaurant, Moms angle hair pasta with meat sauce and meatballs. Sauce is simmered for 4 days / 8 hours each before serving to the public. Who does that? LOL Camera used was a Nikon D3200 w DX 55-200mm lens Nothing fancy but I think it does an admirable job. Anybody hungry? 😋

What happened to the sauce the other 16 hours? Who does that? 🤔

Hmmmmm.......
Neither Hair Nick nor I deleted that thread either (and we don't know why anyone would have done so). However, it's always possible that the person who started it deleted it for some reason. (Or that it simply disappeared due to some sort of Proboards glitch.)
