… Cute feller'! So then, you are Augie Doggy's Doggie Daddy! That I am! 🐶 She’s a doll, in our case ‘Augie’ is short for Augusta Ada.

I try to never pass up a heavenly body. What focal length was used for these?

I try to never pass up a heavenly body. What focal length was used for these? I used my 500mm f/5.6 Sigma. Shutter speeds from .6 to 3.2, ISO 12800 and 16000. If you look close you can see the stars trail a little bit at 3.2s. Wider focal lengths work well too, to get scale with the surroundings. Elise shot at 300 and 1200 and each has its merits.

I was amazed that I needed binoculars to find it, but just pointing my iPhone in the general direction the processing got the exposure right and it was totally visible

I love the first one with the backlit feathers!
So, what's for dinner?

That’s really cool. But, I wonder what his friends think. Is he a god to them or an outcast?

In our 25+ years on the ranch we’ve seen many thousands of turkey wandering through the fields, this was the first white / albino I’ve ever seen. He hung it with me for quite a while this afternoon. 🦃 That’s really cool. But, I wonder what his friends think. Is he a god to them or an outcast? Good question, I actually think he’s a ‘domestic’ that someone is/was raising, I posted his pic on NextDoor, and had lots of comments, but no one claimed him. I wish I had a pen to keep him in and try to rehome him.
